Had the 2 front windows tinted on my '22 Honda Passport. Fantastic experience from start to finish! Coworker recommended this place to me based solely on the fact that she passes it on the way home from work and "heard" good things. Very glad she did! After reading the reviews I decided to reach out. Started off by filling out the online estimate & promptly received a well written and very informative reply within a day. Called immediately and made an appointment for 2 weeks later. The day I arrived, the owner Joe greeted me, got me checked in and helped explain my options. Really cool dude! Extremely friendly and helpful. He really knows his stuff! While the tech got started on my car, we continued to chat and he gave me a tour of the place. VERY clean shop and fun atmosphere with some really cool automotive and fire fighter memorabilia. Car was done within the hour. Pricing is very reasonable especially considering the quality of product and the craftmanship. Windows look flawless and match perfectly. We were concerned about the extreme heat and fading of the furniture due to lots of large windows on the southern exposure of our home. But we didn't want to spend a few years of college tuition on new windows, so we looked into tinting. One of our friends who is a retired fireman recommended Fire Guys Tinting. Joe and all the folks at Fire Guys were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about the windows and the film needed for tinting. They were also skilled installers. We had one small issue with some windows when some haze didn't clear up, and they traced it back to a bad batch of film from the manufacturers, and re-installed it without a problem. After purchasing a new car on Dec 24, I inquired with several tinting companies in the Lake & McHenry County area on cost and scheduling. Fire Guys staff promptly replied to my request (even with the holiday), stayed in touch as I had additional questions, scheduled me within a week and even offered me other slots as they became available.

This evening when I picked up my vehicle, I couldn't be happier with the workmanship. I will be taking the car back in the near future for additional work including paint protection.
