Sawaddee Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Antioch

My husband and I are new to the area and I was craving Thai cuisine. Found this little gem using Google Maps and it’s the best discovery I’ve stumbled upon. You can tell that the establishment is family owned and that the food is authentic Thai cuisine. Both my husband and I were so blown away with the amount of flavor bursting from each dish we ordered. We ordered tofu Tom yum soup, tofu pad see ew, fish cakes, angel wings (tofu version), and sticky rice with mangoes for dessert. The customer service was great, the cook even came out and was conversing with my husband who sent high praises to her for the fish cakes (they were so good, we went home and attempted to replicate the fish cakes). I’m a simple man, a fried rice connoisseur I would say. I enjoyed the food I ordered here for me and my girlfriend! I got an order of the fried rice with shrimp and chicken, it was so good!!! I only ever go to Chinese restaurants for fried rice, never had Thai style fried rice and I’m glad I did because it is so flavorful and the veggies makes it smell so wonderful! My girlfriend got the seadfood curry and she loves spice so it was perfect for her with a side of white rice, we loved it.
