I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a delightful breakfast at Sylvia's Country Kitchen, and I must say it was a truly satisfying and memorable experience. From the moment I stepped into the cozy restaurant, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a comforting ambiance that set the tone for an enjoyable meal.
The menu at Sylvia's Country Kitchen boasts an array of breakfast options, and I was spoilt for choice. After much contemplation, I decided to go with their classic country breakfast, which included fluffy buttermilk pancakes, perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, and a side of golden hash browns. Each element of the meal was prepared with care and attention to detail, resulting in a delicious symphony of flavors.
The quality and freshness of the ingredients were evident in every bite, and it was clear that Sylvia's Country Kitchen takes great pride in sourcing their produce locally. The pancakes were light and airy, the eggs were cooked to perfection, and the bacon had a satisfying crispiness. The hash browns were golden and crispy on the outside while remaining tender on the inside.
The service at Sylvia's Country Kitchen was exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and ensured that I had everything I needed throughout my meal. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it the perfect place to start the day.
Overall, my experience at Sylvia's Country Kitchen was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of delicious food, warm service, and charming atmosphere made for a truly memorable breakfast. Whether you're a local or a visitor, I highly recommend paying a visit to Sylvia's Country Kitchen to savor a delightful breakfast that will leave you...
Read moreThe service could have been worse. At least I got everything I asked for in great timing. But we did have to wait for 5 minutes for them to say hi to us, once seated. Then when the waitress got to us and another table, "I'm going to get your drinks and food order" said as to say, "I hope you're ready or it'll be another 5 minutes, because I don't have time for you". Then she partially laughed at us because I didn't want to spend $5 for a drink with no refills. It would have been a soda, which I got clarification later that the menu was deceiving. But being as she never checked on our food, everything we needed, we had to ask someone else for. We felt completely abandoned and in the way. I grabbed another server to get a soda, then had to get up to ask for all the refills and one of them had an issue, wanted to make sure it was on my check before she gave it to me. Really? You don't see me sitting right there? The food wasn't good enough for the price, or to put up with this kind of treatment. We spent $40 for 2 plates, that came with cheap processed eggs. I understand being busy. But treating me like it's a burden I came in today wasn't cool. I waited tables over 10 years. Slow food and good service is what happens when you're busy. But I got the opposite here. You don't have to worry about me...
Read moreThe waitress was excellent, but it was getting seated by the manager that was the problem. She needs to be reprimanded.
We had a reservation at 11am, and did not get seated until about one hour later, just before noon. Yes, that's right NOON! We were being continually told by the manager, who was seating people that morning that our table was being cleaned off, or the current guests were just wrapping it up, only to find out that was not the case. Or maybe it was, and everyone around us was being seated. Then I was told that our table was ready and they were cleaning it off, she even pointed to it, only to see her seat a family there ahead of us.....that is when I came unglued, and started having words with the manager, who then told me that I should probably just leave. Yes, she said leave the restaurant. Unbelievable. This was the manager of the store.
No way were we leaving, I was not going to allow her to do that to us. This should not go unaddressed with this manager. We are the customer, she should not treat us this way. She is there to serve us, and if she doesn't want to do it fairly, and without lying to us, then she should just retire from her job.
I expect the owner to request that she give us an apology, and I will not accept anything...
