Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Apex

Made pickup order. Arrived at selected pickup time, sandwich wasn't ready. Watched a couple of lines worth of people go through and get their sandwiches from the counter.

Told the cashier I was waiting for my pickup order and gave them my name. Sat down and watched a few more lines go through. Still no order.

Went back in, gave my name again, waited, still no order.

Eventually had to stand in line myself to get the people behind the counter to make my sandwiches. All told the process took about a half hour, when it was supposed to take fifteen seconds.

And then when I got home, they really weren't as delicious as I was hoping.

Next time I'm going somewhere else. It's a lot easier to get sandwiches from Jimmy John's, Firehouse...

Above and Beyond service. I placed a delivery order via the mobile app. Order was to be delivered by DoorDash. The order never showed up, even after an alert from DoorDash that my order was on the way AND delivered. I reached out to Jersey Mike's who remembered the order - and it was a basic order. They quickly offered to remake the order, I would just need to pick it up as they didn't have access to the delivery agent. Once I arrived at the restaurant, the staff were very apologetic for my inconvenience. They quickly remade the order and I was on my way.Even as walking out the door, apologies were forthcoming - apologies for something they had no control over. The manager even called the next day to ensure everything on their end...

I love Jersey Mikes its one of my favorite restaurants. However, I will not be going back to this location. There were not enough workers for a lunch time rush. The man slicing the meet was taking his time and it took 10 minutes to get two subs ready for the second guy. Then there was only one guy doing the condiments and he had two subs that had ordered online in front of mine that he took his time making before getting to mine and the customers weren't even present yet. If you are going to have an order online option, have two people to handle the orders. One for customers that are present and one for online orders. Speed it up folks.
