The round sliced loaf of bread was exactly what I wanted! It smelled right, the crust was perfect, the flavor throughout was delicious. The texture was dense, not fluffy. I'm looking forward to having slices with sandwiches, toasted with soup, and just straight from the bag.

The sfogliatelle was amazing! Such delicate layers of pastry, the filling was perfect. Just like back home in Yonkers, NY. If you have trouble pronouncing it, practice the "sf" sound and think of the "gli" as a "y", and you'll be close enough.

Mom loved her eclair, filled with pastry creme. Other options for filling were whipped cream or cannoli cream. It was huge, easily 2-3 times the size of the eclairs I remember from back home.

I spoke with them about their half-moon cookies, which are similar to the black and white cookies that I love. They gave me a sample. The basic cookie is chocolate. It is topped half with chocolate icing, half with a thick vanilla frosting. Very tasty! I'll definitely get one soon.

They are currently (Feb '19) open just Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. They have plans to build a brick-and-mortar store on...

I went here after reading the reviews, prepared for good food, but being skeptical of the degree to which people are raving.

My fiance is crying into her creampuff over how good it is. The tiramisu is of a quality that elicited an unintentional moan. Compared to the rest of their food, the coffee is pretty terrible. Compared to the real world, their coffee is good. Their portions are large. Their prices are "modest". I would pay twice what they ask for the bread roll without batting an eye. I would work it into my budget.

I took my first bite and the needle on my brain went past "this is delicious I need to eat all of it" into "it should be a crime to not let everyone I know take a bite of this" My go to 'best review' of a place is typically along the lines of how far out of your way you should drive to experience a place. I would move here. I live in Texas. I'm not trying to imply this place might make you believe in a higher power. I'm outright saying it. There is a god of pastries working in this unassuming...

After moving to Apex, I did a lot of searching for the perfect bakery and I’ve finally found it in Utica Bakery! On my first visit, I got a few of my favorite pastry’s to really test them out and I’m pleased to say that they all exceeded my expectations! The cannoli, cream puff (pastry cream filling) and lobster tail (whipped cream filling) were all delicious. Even my very picky husband loved them- Utica is picky husband approved! 😉 With my most recent visit today, unfortunately I had to stop by a little late and they were sold out of every pastry, but they did have one left- A little chocolate eclair with whipped cream filling, and it was truly phenomenal. I didn’t think an eclair could ever be that good! I couldn’t recommend this bakery enough, and I can’t wait to bring my friends and family here! Not to mention the staff is so polite! This will continue to be a weekend...

Utica is an absolute haven for pastry lovers! Every bite is a testament to the care and craftsmanship behind each creation. The éclairs were especially decadent — the pastry itself was light and perfectly baked, with a delicate crispness that gave way to a luscious, creamy filling. The chocolate hazelnut cream, in particular, was a standout — rich, velvety, and perfectly balanced in flavor. It felt like a little taste of Paris in every bite. The pistachio cannoli was equally impressive, with a perfectly crisp shell and a smooth, nutty cream filling that melted in the mouth. The texture contrast between the crunchy shell and the silky filling was simply divine. This place truly knows how to elevate classic pastries to something unforgettable.

Tried as much as we could when we came and still went back for more. Friendly, helpful, warm, and smiling staff greeted us. Everyone was great! Love the window that faces everyone showing off all the tasty treats available. Cannot wait to go back, but much earlier next time. When it gets late they do run out of stuff. On our visit an accident apparently happened in the kitchen making their cannoli cream. Making it lemon rather than orange and it was delicious 👌 do it again on purpose! Everything we had we delicious 😋 Also! They were very clean and made a point of making sure staff was as well, changing gloves frequently and disinfecting cards for each transaction. Good work 👍❤️ Be safe everyone!
