Best ice cream around , but thatâs not my issue!!! Iâve been coming here for 5 years , but I notice that it lacks Diversity of different people thatâs employed here so my husband encourage our daughter to apply here for a part time job to earn some money before college. I instantly thought they wouldnât hire her because she was Muslim and African American , but they did I was so happy for her . My daughter walked 30 min there every scheduled day ( she doesnât have her driving license) willing to learn because after all ice cream is a her favorite , even as a young child she wanted to work at a ice cream shop , so she showed up willing to learn and excited about meeting new people . The owner Jason pops up one day and gave her a âtestâ the first question about serving size she got wrong but she explained to him thatâs how management trained her, he pretended to understand but instantly didnât move forward with the test told her to practice the rest of the the list of things to know and said he would return the following week to retest her but he never did ! The next time she encounter him he fired her said he felt like it wasnât a good fit , she didnât have a positive attitude and management said they have to remind her to do things (well of course this her first job and only been there few weeks). daughter was so confused because management doesnât work with her often she said well did you ask my co workers how I am ? He replied no we donât do that. She also had no customer complaints! She walked 30 minutes back home sobbing and hurt until this day she has no idea what...
Read moreI visited here around 1:40 PM on a Saturday afternoon with a date. This location is in downtown Apex and I actually found out about it via the visit Apex website as I searched for things to do in the area.
The area was pretty busy as the church around the corner was hosting a Halloween event. Luckily, I was able to find a parking spot close by.
You have to walk to the back where thereâs a sign hanging that tells you where the line begins. It wasnât busy at all. We were able to try different ice cream flavors and I tried the midnight brownie and Bojangles bo blueberry jam. I enjoyed both flavors, but ultimately decided to get the latter in a small cup and My date got cookies and cream in a regular cup. To be honest, the small cup was plenty. My date was unable to finish all of his ice cream. You can expect to receive a generous portion.
Personally, I think the prices are a little on the expensive side and they do not have many flavors compared to other ice cream shop with similar offerIngs. Nonetheless, the flavor that I chose was unique and it was enjoyable. The staff was friendly and there is sitting both inside the restaurant and outside. Me and my date sat outside on a bench while we enjoyed the nice weather and ate our ice cream. I...

With ice cream in his blood, and experience from working at Carvel, Brett opened his 1st Fresh Local Ice Cream in 2011 ( Raleigh). Brett passed his love of ice cream onto his son, Jason . . . who now owns a Fresh Local Ice Cream in Apex & Cary! Their mission statement promises local farm-barn ingredients in each hand scooped 16 featured flavors at a time!
Iâd rate Fresh Local Ice Cream as 4.7 stars! The service was great, with each server masked and helpful! The facility was clean, with water available to customers. Also a restroom on site, thank you. My only concern . . . Iâd like to see a few low calorie , or low sugar alternatives for those with dietary restrictions. Otherwise, fantastic variety of choices!
You canât beat several scoops of fresh ice cream with friends/family on a gorgeous...
