Sweet Sarah's Bakery — Restaurant in Appomattox

If you haven't tried Sweet Sarah's on Church Street yet, you don't know what you are missing out on! Before they opened up the new brick and mortar store my wife use to order cookies from her quite often and we even had custom made cookies for my son's 1st birthday party and every single time Sarah delivered with excellent results! Tonight we officially got to go to the new location for the first time, I personally got a chocolate chip cookie and two truffles and they were worth every penny but them truffles were out of this world good makes me wish I'd got more than two! If you love sweet treats and like supporting local businesses then Sweet Sarah's is a must try on your to do list! You can bet your last dollar than I and my family will definitely be back for more and then some too. Oh and did I mention they also have homemade ice...

So, I like to think of myself as a Cookies n’ Cream connoisseur, having been a fan of it since my teens and even as an Ice Cream scooper at the famous Jeffrey’s Ice Cream at Sutton Place Gourmet in MD in the late 80s where it was homemade and delicious, BUT NOTHING and NO OTHER Cookies and Cream Ice Cream comes close to Sweet Sarah’s in Appomattox, VA. It’s the absolute best we’ve ever had and not only that but she does a mean Coffee Brownie Ice Cream too! Her custom cakes and cookies are amazing too…Chocolate Chip, Sugar, and her seasonal flavors are favorites. Sarah, Levi and her helpers are the best! If you get to this neck of the woods, you don’t want to miss this little slice of heavenly deliciousness…definitely...
