Sorry for the 1 star review fellas but this was my 1st time trying food from here,$17 for brisket plate,NO drink included,and didnā€™t give me a fork or spoon,brisket was so tough and dry like leather,I couldnā€™t even tear it apart, not too bothered about the price but the fact that I couldnā€™t eat it and had to go buy more food,maybe I came at a bad time I dunno,but itā€™s a no from me this round,Iā€™ll give it one more try someday for lunch and if itā€™s better Iā€™ll update my reviewā€¦

Hands down the best brisket around. I will drive the 20 miles and past several BBQ joints to get the brisket at Boots. The sauce is top notch, and no complaints about the sausage, or the sides I've had. The sandwiches come with a nice about of meat, served with onions, pickles and the right amount of sauce. I have not had a chance to try the ribs but will on a near future trip over to AP. Boots is on Wheeler (Bus 35) 1/2 block and across the street from Chris' Marine.

Everyone in line was repeat customers who were more than willing to wait if need be. We'll be back too! Pleasure to do this review Boots GO! ENJOY TOO!

The owner is super nice! I like to try BBQ wherever I go. The sliced brisket is perfect! There is nothing that can be done to make it better. Pinto beans are amazing also. I wasn't impressed with the chicken. It tasted reheated and no flavor other than the smoked flavor which is good but needed seasoning. It was also dry. The coleslaw and ribs are really good too. The potato salad was ok but I am very picky about potato salad so don't use my review for that. I really liked the BBQ sauce. I will be back to give the chicken a second chance. Everything else...

Very nice owner, seems to know his local customers well. Very engaging and kind! We are from out of town and stopped due to high Google reviews. We got the family meal - 2lbs brisket, potato salad, coleslaw, and 4 drinks all for $65. Everything was great, plus the BBQ sauce is FANNNNTASTIC! We got a sausage link on the side and accidentally got charged for a whole sausage plate, but no big deal - things happen. We enjoyed our meal at the picnic tables. It was so nice to sit outside with the lovely aroma of fresh smoke & wood. Would...
