I’m revising my review after a visit today. 11:00 am on a Sunday and for some reason there is karaoke here?! WTAF? At full bar room volume. They were busier today, but we had no problem seating ourselves. Waited 10 mins for acknowledgement and menus though. Had to ask the waitress to clean the sticky table off for us, then quickly ordered drinks and food before she could disappear again. A few minutes later another waitress came with a pad to write down and confirm our parties orders. Another 5 minutes before we saw coffee and tea. The karaoke was so loud we could not hear each other to talk. 3 of our 5 ordered plates came to the table 20 minutes later. Took another 10 minutes to get the other two plates. By this time I was so hot I was looking for anything to fan myself and noticed a few others doing the same with menus…One order was dropped completely. One of the five orders for our table was correct. One! After they were double checked… We just ate what was there to GTFO. This was a completely different and unpleasant experience from our last visit on a week day and I could only apologize to our guests in embarrassment. I only saw our disinterested waitress again when my friend chased her down to get the check and a go box.Karaoke! For breakfast?! I guess the search goes on y’all.😩
I’ve been so frustrated lately when trying to find good Tex Mex food in my area. I’m so glad I didn’t stop looking. I found it guys! This place is my new go to for the comfort food of my youth. I tried the crispy taco, the beef enchiladas, and beef and chicken fajitas. Everything was great. Those fantastic flavors of Mexico were all present. I felt the fajitas were particularly good. They were thin sliced chicken and skirt steak that was cooked WITH strips of onion, and bell pepper and a little tomato for a classic umami flavor. Most of the entrees come with rice and beans, both of which were very good. The refried beans were firm and flavorful and the rice was fluffy and delicious. Their enchilada sauce had me cleaning my plate with the homemade flour tortillas. The waitress didn’t seem to know English.Tejano was playing low throughout the dining room. The place was clean and smelled of fabuloso. You can easily close your eyes here and feel like you have crossed the border. AND nice access for wheel...
Read more(Original 5 star review from Feb 2021) Visited back in late February, absolutely fantastic food. And their salsa for chips, AMAZING! We also had a great server, pregnant lady who did an excellent job! Can't wait to return when we're back out that way.
Updated portion of review Wife and I returned after a year and half and simply put this place has gone to craaaap!!!!!. The food is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, if I could rate it a minus 5 star I would!! The sweet tea tasted like there was a metal flavor to it, the Jalisco burrito I ordered was greasy and the beef was bland. We ordered a side of guacamole and it was runny and tasted spoiled. I asked the server had they changed all their food because I noticed the salsa was no longer amazing like a year ago, she said management had changed. Advice, BRING BACK THE OLD MANAGEMENT this place is horrible!!!!! The only positive was the server was nice however that doesn't make up for absolutely TERRIBLE HORRIFIC...
Read moreThe best food we have had in a long time!! I normally dont eat tortillas, corn or flour, because theyre super filling, but i simply couldnt resist their homemade flour tortillas upon seeing and smelling them so fresh and hot. They werent heavy and were so lite. Had the omlette plate, had a perfect combination of cheese, ham, tomatoe, and onion. The potatoes were cooked well, browned nicely, and just so good!! The refried beans werent scorched and were also very fresh, nice texture, and hot. Seems like a simple meal to some but u wouldnt believe the way some of the restaurants in town get it so wrong and so bad. Thanks guys for the awesome breakfast dinner for my family this evening! We very much appreciate the...
