Have dined in here previously and had no complaints, UNTILLLLLLLLLL.. I encountered the employee named Rose. I explained to rose, myself my wife and my son wanted a to go plate, I'm currently under the weather so didn't feel it was appropriate to go eat around others with chances of spreading my sickness. I received my to go plate so I could fix my salad which I requested and was told I could not get soup that they had no containers to fix soup in. My wife and son were asked what they would like in their plate, however we're given limited choices. ( see attached pictures) my wife and my son abided by Rose's instructions. Rose did not allow my wife or son to fix their plate with her choices given and to finalize the suprise of the day, I was charged for 3 adults dine in fee. What I mean about this is , my son is 11 years old and was not charged the adult price upon dine in and had choice of soup and salad bar at dine in. That being said today we got charged for 3 adult dine ins for 2 plates and a salad. No drinks.... basically if Rose is working we refuse to eat here. If Rose is working, anyone I work with will not dine here . 2 plates no salad or drink and one plate just salad for the same price as 3 adult buffets is beyond rediculous. It shouldn't be what Rose feels she wants to charge because she was in a sour mood . For a so said Christian environment this attitude and stiffing innocent people for their money just lost our business. I could have dined in, fixed multiple plates and not eat it, made a horrible mess and get unlimited drinks and a ice cream cone for the ride home, but Rose had other plans today. I guess she really needed that 50 dollars. I don't mind paying as I have paid 240 dollars for us 3 to eat at other places, but don't think you will get over someone and it go unsaid. Moral of the comment, the food may be good but if Rose is there, we will not eat there. I put a one star as it didn't give me the option to put a negative rating !

Hubby and I went there Sunday at 11:15 for Mother's day lunch. It was SO crowded already, inside and out! We only waited 10 minutes and we were texted that our seats were available. The food was AWESOME! The service was AWESOME! Those employees were busy, busy, busy all of the time. No lolly-gagging and looking at their cell phones like some other restaurants! They were working their butts off...but were all still smiling and several took the time to ask if we needed anything, refill our drinks, how were we enjoying our food, etc. And speaking of food: the brisket was cooked to perfection! Tender, juicy and tasty. The turkey was delicious thick slices of white and dark meat, for your choosing. Then the ham, the fried chicken, green bean casserole, corn, broccoli, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, gravy choices and more...were all fabulous. And I mean it. No run of the mill tastes here. Each item was given the preparation it needed to be delicious on its own. The line at the buffet tables were long, but kept moving very well. With the attentive staff refilling all the trays of food as needed. As mentioned before, they were busy and hard working to keep those tables filled. We saw the huge salad tables filled to the brim with freshness, but were too full to even take anything (a rarity for us to pass up a great salad bar). But we did save room for their famous peach cobbler! It didn't disappoint us either. This restaurant knows what it is doing. The food was the star, and the employees and their teamwork was great, right along with any 5 star restaurant. Great job, management! What a delightful Mother's Day treat we had. Thank you! 💥💥💥💥💥

Brought here by family and they love it. It's buffet style and I'm not a fan of all you can eat buffets. It was about $13 (or 15) per person, drinks are extra. Lots of fried options (fish, chicken, chicken fried steak), plus brisket and roasted chicken. There are veggies like corn, fried okra, mashed potatoes, broccoli, steamed spinach. Also, white and brown gravy. The brisket had good flavor, the fried fish was good. Other stuff, like the mashed potatoes, corn, and spinach were bland. There was a salad bar with spinach, beets, boiled eggs, mixed lettuce, tomatoes, radishes. Dressings were pretty standard, oh! the blue cheese was actually blue - not sure why and I'm assuming it's food dye but it was weird (see picture), it's no joke. For those still practicing care of themselves and their neighbors - this place got busy quickly after opening (11am) and there was a line out the door when we left (12-ish). They were at full capacity - no spacing between tables even though they have the space; no spacing at the counter when we paid. Masks and gloves required at the buffet line, but I saw a woman with gloves but no mask and a few others, so it's not enforced and the buffet line is packed!! One of the servers had an upside-down face shield but no mask. Anyone with at-risk family members - be careful and maybe carry out. Personally, I won't be going back.

My 17 year old son and a few coworkers from San Antonio went in for some lunch and were treated very rudely! The staff probably thought he was older than 17, but he is not and how horrible to hear of the service that they received while working out of town. They had just gotten into town there and were only there working an event for a couple of hours and headed back home. So stopping there to enjoy some lunch after a couple of hours of just road there and then a couple hours of road coming back home, it would’ve been nice for them to have a nice enjoyable lunch. When I googled this place and went to the website and saw the “ God Bless Our Guest” picture front and center, it really was disheartening knowing what my son experienced the one few times that he happens to be without his parents! The crew and him are all wonderful and I am sure they did not do anything to deserve that. From what he expressed he felt and experienced y’all were be very judgmental and rude. Walking by asking if they were ready to pay frequently as if to rush them out, and when asked for drink refills slamming the drinks on the table! Shame on y’all! I called to talk to a manger and was told that one was unavailable, so I said I’d find the owners to speak with them and the woman who answered cheerfully said to do so. I really hope the owners see this and have a conversation on customer service with the staff that was there today during lunch time. Do better y’all! I would’ve loved for when I asked him what he ate for him to tell me that he had a great experience, so that when we returned to visit we could also stop and enjoy ourselves or recommend y’all’s place to friends, family and even strangers on social media. We love to support local businesses, but super disappointed that this...
