President Square Food Court — Restaurant in Arcadia

Be aware! Avoid the watch repair in the food court! I have no issues with the food here, they are all nice and some owners are my friends. However, be extra careful with the watch repair shop here. I ask the person to replace the car key battery for me. He charged for ~$20, which is fair. However, the key immediately stopped working after the replacement. I ask the person to replace a new battery. He refused. I then offered a compromise to change back to the old key, and even offer to keep the new battery without the need for refund, jus to check if the key still works. He blatantly refused, and ask for additional Labour cost. Don’t come here! Once he took your money, he’s not responsible for anything!!!!

Update: now he’s just gone while I’m still trying to negotiate.

Update 2: went to O’Reilly and get it done. So it’s definitely faulty battery from this...

Beware of the Vua Kho Bo Beef Jerky store, they deliberately go against your wishes on how much to charge you. I honestly didn't want any Jerky at all, but tried a sample. I didn't know that means that I am obligated to purchase now, but they keep pestering you. So I gave in and said just give me a couple pieces of each and keep it about half a pound. At $32 a lbs. it's rather high for just jerky. She kept grabbing a thick stack of 5-6 pieces, I kept saying no I only want a couple pieces. And she kept insisting on giving me everything she grabbed. It came out to $40. Way over what I wanted to spend. Never coming back again! I will not be coerced by some store that can't generate enough business by themselves, that they have to resort to such low class tactics of imposition and forcing their overpriced products...

This food court CLOSES on FRIDAY NIGHT at 8 PM. Really, what place does that?? Right after 8 pm, the Mexican attendant started to clean up the dining area, put all chairs upside down on tables and turn off some lights even though there were people still eating.

I understand it’s not a fine dining place but should have given customers some time to finish up their meals. Unfortunately, this is how they work. Ended up we asked for to-go boxes because it was too uncomfortable to eat. However, it's a good small food court that offers delicious and reasonable priced Asian food. Clean dining area and restrooms. Order takeout if you arrive...
