Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in Arden Hills

This was the worst experience I have ever had... (I have always enjoyed Caribou till I stopped at this Caribou off of Lexignton in Arden Hills) I purchased a cup of coffee went to add non dairy creme, that all the other Carabou coffee's have at their guest counter and only found 'Dairy cream' I approached the woman at the register (grey hair) asked if they had any non dairy creamers... Right in front of 5 patrons she barked at me and said NO I explained I have severe allergies to dairy and that other Caribous have non dairy: This person imediatly argued with me and said I have never heard of that: when I explained many people have dairy allergies she said I have never had any one ask for a non dairy creamer... then I asked if they had soy, This person said sharply I have Almond milk (at this point I'm feeling terrible this should be a place to come to get coffee and meet a friendly staff member, so I became nervous and spilt my coffee)

I asked this person if she had a towel so I could wipe up the spill: again this person tossed a fit and looked at me with the look of death and made it very apparent I was a complete bother again in front of every one.

As I left I could hear her grumbling about me

I will never return to this Place again and am going to call corporate

September 11, 2022. Only leaving a 2 Star review because the coffee tasted fine; my review is regarding my experience. I feel bad for the 2 girls there this morning working by themselves, it was clearly busy, however, visiting a coffee shop should be a fun and lively experience (hello, coffee) and it was clear these 2 couldn't be bothered by the people who came inside. A smile would go a long way...Also, 4 Soliders entered after I'd already paid for my coffee and seeing as it's 9/11, I discretely tried to give the ladies a $20 to go toward their coffee and instead of even acknowledging it, I felt as though I was causing them more work. SO disappointed in the Customer Service...

12/6/24 - they are still struggling. 5-6 employees and they are all standing around talking and not helping customers. Who is the manager here?! At least this time they got my drink right...

I don't know why this place struggles so much, but it's been a common occurrence where my drinks come drowning in coffee grounds. You would think a professional place like this would be able to keep their coffee grounds out of their guests drinks, but no. I get an occasional drink here or there, but of I order a drink a day and 4/5 have coffee grounds I think there is another...
