Certainly a fantastic waste of money and time! The staff are terrified of having a personality and the people that typically attend this location are horrifically easy to offend. Its almost like when adults get out into public and absolutely refuse to understand the definition of a joke... desperately NEEDING to be offended.
I personally witnessed 2 adult males in their late years having a lively discussion and exchanging jokes. Was honestly a fantastically refreshing conversation to be close to. Suddenly out of nowhere a clearly Woke Facist self proclaimed social worker desperately needed to stop thier fun and press upon them her status and how she feels their constitutional right to freedom of speech needs to be oppressed. The impressively booring and emotionless staff enforced the Facist ideal and wanted the 2 older gentlemen to stop communicating with eachother in order to keep the imbicile from being subjugated by humor.
This place is a DISCRASE! Do not come here if your an intelligent person looking to have a few drinks and a good time. Do however come here if your looking for an excuse to play god and shame others based on a narrow and uneducated personal view that even your own family cant stand.
The food is mediocre to be kind, if Tuna is something that you want to eat this place will sell you old skunky tuff tuna one day and halfway decent cuts the next. The kitchen is incredibly inconsistent and I quit ordering food here for some time due to the terrible kitchen and the really underwhelming food. This place is on the way home and for some reason I still enjoy watching self entilted shirt tuckers pretending to be decent and likeable.
After watching the staff and the Facist social worker slam 2 older gentlemen trying to enjoy a few beers and tell a few jokes at what would be advertised to others as a bar....I will NEVER put another penny into a location so completely incapable of letting 2 Americans have a good time. 2 stars for some reason is only because the bathroom is at least kept clean.
P.S. The entrance could use...
Read moreMy recent dining experience at The Tavern Grill in Shoreview, Minnesota was nothing short of a nightmare. As an out-of-towner on a business trip, I was excited to explore the local culinary scene, but this restaurant left me feeling frustrated and disheartened.
Upon arrival, we noticed that other patrons were seated before us, even though we had arrived earlier. The hostess seemed to intentionally avoid seating us, even though she kept looking in our direction. It was impossible not to notice that we were the only people of color waiting to be seated, surrounded by individuals, couples, and families who were being promptly accommodated.
Feeling perplexed, we requested to sit outside, hoping for a change in scenery. However, we were informed that no outdoor seating was available. Fine, we thought and asked to be seated inside as we were initially told there was plenty of seating indoors. To our dismay, we were then informed that we would have to wait even longer.
We politely inquired about the status of our seating arrangements, only to be met with more excuses and delays. The manager even went as far as making excuses for the unprofessional behavior of the hostess. This blatant disregard for customer service and fairness left us feeling completely unwelcome.
The only saving grace was our waiter, Andrea, the only pleasant person we encountered throughout the ordeal. She provided attentive and friendly service, but unfortunately, it was overshadowed by the overall negative experience.
To add insult to injury, we captured a photo that perfectly encapsulates the hostess's consistent avoidance of any contact with us. Our presence was not only ignored but seemingly unwelcome from the moment we walked in.
As someone visiting from out of town, I urge fellow travelers to consider exploring other restaurants in the area. Our hotel staff even advised us to do so, further highlighting the reputation this restaurant has earned. Don't waste your time and energy on a place that fails to treat all customers with respect...
Read moreMy family of 4 went and had dinner here on Sunday and we arrived around 430pm. When we arrived, we were greeted right away, but the hostess and the gentleman who actually sat us clearly do not get along. She was very short with him and kept rolling her eyes when he asked her questions about our table. The gentleman also did not even know the table numbers, so half way to our table he stops us and tells us to wait to make sure he has the correct table. Remind you, there are people eating and were literally waiting right in front of their table. Once we were seated, we ordered 3 sodas and a water with lemon. When the drinks arrived, my glass was dirty and the water did not come with lemon or a straw. When the waitress returned, I asked for a new glass and if we could please have a lemon and straw for the water. She brought out only the new soda, but the glass was still dirty. There was food all over the side of the glass. I didn't even drink the soda. Once we ordered our food, it took four people to bring out our meal and they brought it out meal by meal. I'm not sure why we couldn't all be served at once, but it was over 10 minutes from the first meal being served to the last person actually getting their meal. Remind you, all we ordered was 3 Chicken alfredo and 1 Cajun Chicken alfredo. Our waitress never came back to see if we needed anything or if the food was okay. We did not see her until she brought our check. We have been here before and to be honest, we were not impressed, but we had a $40 gift card, so we thought we would try it again, but we were not pleased. The building is very nice, but the service is poor and I feel the menu doesn't have that great of selection, also $22 for chicken alfredo seems a bit much. I also wanted to make a comment that the restroom did not have heat. You could feel the temperature change when you entered the restroom so bad that my child was shivering just using...
