In Vino Veritas — Restaurant in Shoreview

We were excited to hear of this fun Wine Bar that opened up in last month or so near our side of town. We popped by on an early Saturday Evening to check out and were truly glad we did! From the moment you enter you are welcomed by the warm staff and inviting decor. With large seating rooms in tasteful decor… you will want to settle in for a couple glasses of tempting wines. We spent some time visiting with the owners during our time there … both truly delightful people! With a well thought out selection of wines. (Beers too! and beers!) After a couple samples, were quite pleased with a couple selections the owner had suggested that may fit our taste. We enjoyed some wonderful live music which was perfect for the setting (Friday and Saturday local area artists entertain). For sure, we will be back with family and friends and will partake of the Charcuterie Boards as well as the tempting desserts! First time going there sat at a great area loved the music very relaxing. Then a waitress came over and said a big party is coming in can you move? Really? Total turn off. We met 2 other ladies that sat with us and they were leaving as well. Not good for only being open a week!! Then they wanted a 15 percent tip! received a response from owners they really don't don't care if you don't spend money there!! So.. I we will never goanhere again!! What a joke! But they offer potato chips oh boy!!! Illthey don't even check on you to see if you want more wine! What a joke I'm embarrassed for them! We walked here from home for a kid free local date night. The atmosphere and decore are amazing and create a cozy environment. Live music was perfect. Wind and food was great. We got the medium charcuterie board and it was the perfect amount for the price for nibbles for 2-3 people. Would love to see a few more non-alcoholic choices (wines, beer, hop water) for friends I would like to invite for next time! Also tiramisu! Definitely try out this place and let’s make it a neighborhood go to!
