This is a 1 star primarily because of the service THIS time. My father is disabled and scooter bound and decided to try to walk with his crutches and sit in this McDonalds for the first time in 5 years. The last time being when he found mold in his coke from the dirty nozzles. Decided to try it again and learned our lesson. He went in with his crutches. Ordered on the app at the table with his table number to have his food brought to the table. The woman didn't bring his food and just yelled from the counter, just 6 feet away. When he didn't come for his food she kept calling and he asked if it was his, and asked for it to be brought to him, as he had requested on the app. She checked the receipt to verify it was his, they agreed, when he asked if the receipt asked her to bring the food to him with his table number, she lifted the receipt, crumpled it up, and said, "no it does not." She lied. Afterwards, my mom came out to help him get his food, she asked why it wasn't brought to him and the woman rudely said "You have legs." My mom became upset, since no one was helping them she went behind the counter quickly to grab a fork, the woman PUSHED her and yelled that she was no allowed back there, to get away, and then abruptly put a tray to cover the area, then walked away. My mom came back to get syrup, no help, until she finally nicely yelled, can someone please get me some syrup. This sent the worker spinning. She brought the syrup and slammed it on the counter. Then the manager came over and said they will have to call the police if she doesn't stop. My mom only asked for her needs in a frustrated but polite way and this is how they got treated. Every customer before them didn't get service, but everyone after them did. After this experience every single person got their food brought to their table. When the woman came out to the parking lot to bring someone else their food she lifted the bag, looked at my dad, and shook the bag as to taunt him! I cannot believe there are these type of people who treat disabled people so poorly, and that anyone would want them as a face of their company.
Edit to their response. We tried to reach out to customer care and no one got back to us for a while. Then they finally did and said they would give us a coupon, like that's enough to cover an ADA lawsuit if we...
Read moreI stopped here earlier today after driving 4 hours. No one was behind the counter so I used their kiosk. I found it time consuming and confusing but that is probably my lack of familiarity. However, the kiosk would absolutely not proceed with my order unless I indicated a table number. I couldn't find numbers on the tables and realized it was referring to plastic markers with numbers beside the unmanned register. So I grabbed number "1" and proceeded to finish my order, paid and sat down. After many minutes a young lady yelled out medium Big Mac meal from behind the counter. I went up to pick up my order and asked why I had to indicate a table number if she wasn't bring it out to me. She said in a snippy voice "I don't know, I just work here" she then turned away from me and called me derogatory name in a loud voice. I asked, twice, for a manager and indicated that indeed his employee was supposed to bring the order. No apology from him, and certainly not from the unprofessional employee as I heard her in the back continuing to blame me and call me further names. And, by the way, they had obviously not salted the french fries, worst ever, but I drown them in ketchup....which I had to specifically ask to be provided. Don't waste your time here drive a few more minutes and go to an In and Out, better run, nicer employees and much...
Read moreDid NOT go to McDonald's at this location!
Went to Carlota's Authentic Mexican Restaurant at 15881 North Oracle Road, Tucson, AZ. (Next to McDonald's)
Carlota's had fantastic food and a colorful, vibrant atmosphere!
We went on a Friday night. There was about a 5 minute wait before we were seated. Didn't have reservations.
There was a Mariachi Band playing. They were very talented performers. Olivia has a very powerful and lovely voice. I almost forgot that I had gone there to eat.
Our waiter was Ricardo. Very outgoing and friendly, as well as attentive and efficient. I plan to ask to be seated at one of Ricardo's tables on my next visit.
The food was hot when delivered with adequate portions. I had Combination #3. The tamale was really yummy!
Would have liked a larger serving of tortilla chips. Meal came with a small bowl, and one refill was free.
Carlota's recently relocated to the opposite side of the highway next to McDonald's. There is a median that requires a U-turn if you are coming from Tucson.
I recommend Carlota's Authentic Mexican Restaurant for a...
