The Human Bean — Restaurant in Arizona

Seriously always hit or miss with this place. I know the products used in the establishment are good because I’ve had some amazing coffee from human bean. But it has to be a staff issue. Went about 30 min ago got a iced raspberry chocolate macadamia latte and the girl in the speaker seemed confused and kept re asking, then at the window asked about my order again and said “we don’t have that flavor” I had to explain to her how she would need to combine the raspberry with the chocolate macadamia…paid for the drink and she was offended when I didn’t tip(I always tip $5). But I’m not tipping when I have to repeat, and then tell them how to do their job. Got my iced latte haded to me with about 4 ice cubes in it. Almost $9 for a drink that will drink now out of obligation and because either way it still has caffeine in it. I kept going cause I try my best to support local, but won’t be returning. Sadly I am updating my review. I have been a loyal customer since my first visit. Today however, I had a bad experience. The gentleman that took my payment and scanned my app code had the worst attitude, he messed up and got angry with the system, said some choice words and handed my my tea and shut the door. Normally there is a coffee bean on the lid, today there wasn't and thats my favorite part. Then I took a sip of my tea and it was flavorless when I ordered it with lavender, vanilla & cane sugar. Normally getting my tea is my favorite part of driving all the way into town and today was such a let down.

Honestly I love the Human Bean but this location needs to get it together.

All the girls are super sweet and great at their job. The manager keeps forgetting to order the food items on the menu and its extremely irritating.

When I called to tell him that they are always out of bagels he told me they come in on Tuesdays and that his boss only lets him order a certain amount. Went there today & sure enough they were out of bagels. According to the girls working he didnt order them this week. I dont understand why have an item on the menu if you arent able to serve it.
