Really liked the strawberry chicken salad , even better quality than expected. Very good Ice cream as well. Super friendly crew , mostly young kids working hard which is rare in todays world. Dining area was clean and wait for food was short. I was very much enjoying my dinner and thinking 5 stars ... then I looked up and saw most of the kids working in the food prep area all take out their cell phones and start texting or whatever during a lul with no customers , some handling their phones still wearing their plastic food gloves. Its todays generation 🙄 I dont want to knock them for working , but a lesson in hygein and food cross contamination might come in handy. 👍 Maybe even ban phones in their possesion alltogether while on the clock , there's always some cleaning or something to do. Savannah took our order. I asked if my shake could be made later. She said yes. After eating dinner, we went back up to order my kids desserts and have mine made. Savannah had mine made before we got up to the line. I told her she was so fast, I didn't get to tell her I wanted it on the thick side. (I wasn't going to ask to have it remade, because personally, I don't like to waste perfectly good food.) She remade it on the thicker side and swapped it out. My children ordered and my daughter ordered something that wasn't even on the menu. Savannah said she could make that and charge us accordingly. My wife went there with my little son and brother in law the other day. I have been previously several times also. They are conveniently located and they can't be beat for delicious ice cream and American burger type lunch foods. We usually grab the bag of burgers, a large fry and sometimes shakes when we are in a hurry. It feeds me, her, and the boys easily. When the weather is nice you can take your food over to Wilson park across the street for a picnic. if you have kids, they can play on the train or one of the playgrounds.
