Alsultan Iraqi grill — Restaurant in Arlington

I visited this restaurant because I had previously tried their Kabab at a friend's feast, where they brought Kabab from this place, and it was quite good. Unfortunately, during my visit last week, we ordered chicken and beef shawarma. When we asked (I believe it was the owner) whether the shawarma was made on a skewer, he confidently confirmed that it was. However, it became evident that the shawarma was not actually prepared on a skewer once we got our order because we can tell that easily, in addition to that, food was badly salted and has too much spices. Food has no flavor and TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. put in an online order an hour earlier i had a big order in, and when i arrived it wasnt ready, and started preparing it when i arrived had to wait 30mins for an order that should’ve been ready!!! very frustrating and i was late to my event.

On top of that their chicken shawarma was dry, their kekbab sandwich had no grill or spice flavor and the tahini sauce in the sandwich tasted like mayonnaise. their burger was hard & salty it tasted like it was a day old not fresh.

Extremely disappointed with everything at this restaurant. Visited yesterday for dinner- there was only one person running the place. We were the only customers at this place. My order was incorrect but still decided to keep it because the service was extremely slow. Everything that we were served was not fresh- chicken (shawarma and tikka) was reheated because it was dry, hard and chewy. Rice was oily and also not fresh. Croutons in lentil soup were stale. I hope the owner can take this review to better their service because I would hate to see a restaurant go out...
