Donut Cafe — Restaurant in Arlington

Heard this shop was under new ownership and management. Went to try them out and i was extremely impressed by everything. Spoke with the owner and you can feel the passion when he speaks. Quality individual. Workers are respectful, kind, cool, and accommodating. Their items are phenomenal. Ive tried their kolaches and a variety of donuts. Amazing! You can tell everything is made fresh hours before, fresher if you get there around 6-7am. They have new flavors that the previous owners didnt. Biscoff, pistachio, and cookies and creme donuts and they are amazing. The owner told me about what they have in store for this shop and man am i excited to see what is to come. So happy this place is 10 minutes from me. Another great quality they have is that they dont waste anything and nothing is saved and reused for following days. They told me that the leftovers are passed around to different places around the neighborhood, police dept, fire station, other local businesses. They even brought some to my job and local mosques. I normally come to this place and have no issues besides the fact that they are a tad bit more expensive than other donut shops in the surrounding area. I don’t mind paying the extra due to convenience. however, today on a Friday morning around 7 am, i go in to purchase donuts for my kids and I was given pre-bagged donut holes which is not uncommon when i go to other donut shops. However, from the taste of the donuts they clearly had to have been made the day prior or even days prior. They were not fresh at all. They were stale and the taste was terrible. My kids hated them. It was a waste of my money when i could have driven a few minutes down the road and went elsewhere. This was a very disappointing experience and i really hope my review stops them from doing this to other customers or at least other customers will make note that when they give you pre-bagged bags of donut holes, they...

I am very pleased with this donut shop. I have a great experience every single time that I visit. I haven’t been in Texas a long time, but I am always warmly welcomed and I’ve always had great customer service in every experience I’ve had. Their donuts are absolutely delightful, and they have a great variety of breakfast foods and drinks. Their prices are very reasonable. And I gave a special shout out to the lady who owns it. She is very sweet and always has a warm smile and is very accommodating to anything that I need. Between the food and the lovely owner, I’d give this place six stars.
