Bek’s Nizza Pizza — Restaurant in Arlington

Hubby and I were in a pizza mood last night but didn't want a chain pizza NOR did we actually want to go out and get one! I knew Nizza Pizza delivered, but I wasn't sure how far. I called, spoke with this very nice man who plugged in our address and said that we were 6.3 miles away and their delivery area is 5 miles.....BUT he'd be HAPPY to send some food our way. OMG for real, are you serious? Customer service? OMG let me check w/hubby and we'll call back to order....I reported this amazing turn of events to hubby and we both went NUTS ordering. We split the Caesar salad, ordered an XL lasagne pizza and each got a pasta dish. He opted for linguini with white clam sauce and I got spag with meat sauce - requesting extra sauce on both. Total before gratuity was about $48 but if you've ever eaten here, you know that'll feed us both all week.

About 45 mins later, ding-dong, nice delivery man is here. Everything was included and prepared exactly like we ordered! Each of the pasta dishes came with two little garlic bites and a roll - yum....but those will occupy VTS (valuable tummy space) so we'll eat those later.

The pizza was EPIC! Seriously one of the best pizzas we've ever had! I didn't know how marinara sauce, basil, ricotta and mozzarella were going to be on a pizza, but it WORKS. It tastes like lasagna, but even better...the flavors really went well together and the marinara was flavorful and mild enough for the ricotta and basil flavors to really shine.

Hubby nibbled on his pasta dish, proclaiming it 'really good' and I have yet to even open my spaghetti. I'm in charge of 'cooking' tonight, so you know what we'll be having, right?

I stopped by today to thank them in person and asked for a manager...the guy who was helping me had that 'uhoh' look on his face....when I told him why I was there, that I wanted to personally thank them for delivering to us, he lit up like a Christmas tree and said 'oh, that was me'. I was so glad I could meet the man in person who really extended us such kindness and service. I completely forgot to get his name, so if he's reading this, I hope he lets me know!

Great food, great service AND they deliver! OHyeah! ...

I placed a delivery order from Beks Nizza Pizza, as I have plenty of times before. The estimated delivery time was 6:49p, with the latest arrival time at 7:04p. I waited until 7:20p before inquiring and was told the delivery was on it's way. At 7:40p the delivery still was not made so I called to cancel and was hung up on. I called back and asked for the manager and was told there was no manager there but they will get me someone to talk to. A guy by the name of Drew got on the phone and I explained to him why I wanted to cancel the order. He restated that it was out for delivery and since I made the purchase through a 3rd party (the app SLICE) I would need to call them. Slice called them and said they talked to the manager (who was not there 5 minutes prior) and said the best they could do was offer a discount. DISCOUNT ON A PIZZA I STILL DON'T HAVE!?! He then stated he would call the restaurant back tomorrow to speak to the manager and they would send me an email response. I ordered from another restaurant and saw on my camera that the delivery guy showed up at 8pm. UNACCEPTABLE to think I should still pay for this service. An hour late! I am pregnant and if I knew it was going to take that long I would have gotten out of bed to go pick it up!

I order from Beks Nizza Pizza on Lamar all the time and have never received this kind of service or treatment. If the owner does not honor a refund and an apology I will not be ordering...

I can say I had high hopes ordering from here. This was the worst delivery experience I have ever had! We placed our order a 8:00pm. When we got the order at 9:08pm they forgot a pepperoni pizza. Since the shop was only 10 minutes away, they said they would be right back with it. We said fine, paid in cash which included the tip. As 10:00pm came around, we called the store, and we were told that he was on the way and he should be here in 10 minutes. We called back at 10:30pm since we still did not have get our food, and they stated the delivery guy had “car trouble”, and we were told that he was 5 minutes away! We called, yet again and was told he was “stopped by the train”, which is right by our house (we can see the tracks from our back door, the train does not run after 9:30pm on saturdays) and when the driver himself finally gave us a call at 11:00pm, he said he locked his keys in his car! So what that told me was one thing, the driver delivered other orders before getting our undelivered food to us. And to say that the restaurant had high reviews in the food is beyond me. The calamari was rubbery, the wings tasted frost bitten frozen wings, and my pizza was ice cold by the time we got it. I will say this was our first, and last time ordering from...
