Even though I understand they just opened, there was no greetings! No understanding how and where to order! But there are things that are just not right! Not me being in line and I don’t look traditional Arab, a man who’s behind me orders ahead and goes to pay while I’m still standing. The communicate is happening in Arabic so the assumption is I won’t understand what just happened!!! Not acceptable at all!! The system is first come first serve and should be honored and operated accordingly!! So disappointed.
The Kunafa is cold and a sliver is for $7!!
A reply for your reply There was no misunderstanding, let’s say you were correct “which you’re absolutely NOT” and I was looking around, have you asked me if I was ready, I wasn’t asked if I’m ready to place an order! Or I needed help to make a decision. If I have said I’m still looking around, that would give you all the right to serve the next person. I just was bypassed as if I and my kids didn’t exist!! I was standing in line and the man behind me shouted his order in Arabic and was just served ahead of me!! When I confronted y’all, you didn’t say “oh, we thought you weren’t ready!” Your answer was being caught in an embarrassing situation and acting an aloof, and apologizing for the situation, so don’t turn things around and called a misunderstanding to save face.
And Wallahi the kunafa was not hot at all, best description would room...
Read moreBest kinefa I've ever had here in DFW. Went here because of good reviews. The restaurant seems new. They didn't have their screens up for display at the time we arrived. We were surprised by just how much business they were getting on a Thursday at 6pm. A lot of the customers speak Arabic. The staff speak Arabic as well and seem to speak little English. They appeared busy and short staffed. It wasn't exactly clear to us what was what just because there were no labels and we didn't speak Arabic. It felt like the staff were interacting with the Arabic customers over us but we did eventually get our food after deciding. To be fair we were still looking over the menu for awhile but only because we were unsure what was what.
When I first had the kinefa, I liked it. It tasted great. It has this taste that I haven't had with other kinefas that I've had. What was different about this one is that after I had it, I wanted more. I was willing to buy more. It was worth it. I've never had a kinefa that made me want to order more. I've had good kinefa but this one at this location was so good I wanted to buy it again.
We ordered the mixed plate kinefa with half soft kinefa and half crunchy. We preferred the crunchy over the soft. But both were delicious...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Kunafa Factory, and it was an experience worth every one of my five stars! The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm, inviting atmosphere and the tantalizing aroma of freshly made Middle Eastern sweets.
The kunafa itself was nothing short of spectacular—perfectly crisp on the outside, delightfully soft on the inside, and drizzled with just the right amount of syrup to balance its sweetness. Every bite was a burst of authentic flavor that transported me straight to the heart of the Middle East. The baklava and other treats on offer were equally impressive, showcasing a level of craftsmanship that truly sets this place apart.
What made the visit even more memorable was the attentive and friendly service. The staff went out of their way to ensure I felt welcome, offering suggestions and even a few extra samples to let me experience the full range of their delectable menu.
In short, Kunafa Factory exceeded all my expectations. Whether you're a dessert aficionado or simply looking to try something uniquely delightful, this is a must-visit destination. I’m happy to say that my experience was...
