Viridian Biergarten — Restaurant in Arlington

This spot definitely has potential, and if you're a Viridian resident, you should make sure you help make it happen. We wanted this for many years, so it's our job to keep it alive. If every resident could just aim to spend around $100 a month here, I feel like we can help bring this spot to its full potential.

It's way too hot in the summer to only have 2 umbrellas. At least one at each table or some other shade/fan misters would help greatly. UPDATE There are now umbrellas at every table as well as fan misters. Much more cooler now!

They also changed their menu and added a lot more food and drinks! Canned beers for only $4. We had a few draft beers last night (Saturday) and everything we got was great. I believe they were around $6.50. Also had live music.

They added water bowls for dogs as well as free treats for them.

The beer options are surprisingly good! They also have ciders and wine. Last time I went, beers were $8 each.

The view of Viridian Lake is wonderful. There's a small dog park and play area for the kids. Restrooms are very clean and has ice cold air conditioning in summer.

The bar style food such as hamburgers and brats, and what appears to be homemade potato chips, are all excellent and freshly made!

If I had one complaint, the last couple of times I went, they were playing country music. People either love or hate country music, I am of the latter. I would suggest a more generic style of music that most people like. Classic rock is probably a good choice.

I recently visited Viridian Beargarten and had an exceptional experience. Their IPA was perfectly balanced, refreshing, and paired wonderfully with the food. The wings were tender and flavorful, and the fresh fried potato chips, cooked in beef tallow, were crispy and rich without the guilt of seed oils.
