Whitehorse Tavern — Restaurant in Arlington

While the atmosphere is fun and the drinks are strong, if you're not a local or friend of the bartenders - BEWARE. And ask for an itemized bar tab. Was in town visiting with two friends on Friday, 4/19/2024. We each had two rounds. When the single tab came it was double what it should've been. We didn't catch it initially and paid the bill. I mentioned the drinks were very strong, right? When we did realize later what had happened, we returned and politely confronted the bartenders - neither of whom was able to make eye contact with us. They claimed to not remember us, but interestingly enough was able to recite what we'd been drinking. Long story short - the ladies behind the bar had been serving up their boyfriends and putting it on our tab. Never got our money back, but maybe Karma will be...

My daughter wanted to support the Arlington community and take her sister who just turned not only 21 but is also graduating from her esthetician college in Everett. The White Horse is the only place that wouldn’t take a vertical ID. If they would do their homework like all of the other restaurant/bars they would understand that these kids can’t get a new updated license until this summer due to Covid.

I have been here before and enjoyed the general atmosphere. but this last time was another story the bartender was completely out of line. I was sober and the DD and witnessed the bartender harass my group at multiple times. she had told a couple members of my party (that had not even ordered a drink) that they could no longer be served. my brother was drinking a bottle of water and was kicked out. I assured them that the rest of us had sober drive but she still insisted on being cold toward my group. they have lost a large amount of business from my friends and family. if I could give this place zero...
