Blast 825 Brewery — Restaurant in Arroyo Grande

I actually was a regular there for awhile I would go here grab a beer after work the staff was very friendly and considerate but tonight I came in to meet my mom and dad and waited about 10 min for someone to come over to get my order finally I went to the bar and no one was there and everyone who was sitting at the bar all had empty drinks So I decided to ask one of the servers if there was someone to take my order.At first she gave me attitude like I was bothering her then she said "she will be right with you and she is the only one bartending and food running" which I get I worked in the service industry for 7 years so as I walked back to my table she walks over and says " I can help you..." With heavy sarcasm which was super condescending after gave me the explanation rather then just asking how can I help....so we gave her our drink orders and then with even more sarcasm/condescending attitude she demanded to see are i.d (didn't ask friendly like may I or can I see your I.Ds) I was a little shocked but I understood so as I handed her my id I trying to lighten the mood and I said "I was a regular you must be new" but instead she took offense and responded again with heavy sarcasm said "yeah I'm and the new manager" It just was crazy the way she acted so sarcastically/condescending and hostile/angry when I was just trying to order a couple of drinks after ten minutes She doesn't seem very good at her job But the bartender who was super busy was very polite and helpful when she was able to Also the server/host? Not sure but he took are order was helpful and also cleared the table

The only reason I'm giving this two stars is because of the other...

It has a nice vibe. The service used to be suspect when they first opened in place of Fig's...and Fig's was suspect during the Rona. We had actually stopped going as we experienced poor service a few times.

My wife and I have stopped in 3-4 times over the past 2 months and have experienced great service and the food has been delicious. Pictured is their nachos with tri-tip and the steak bites. The steak are frigging amazing!

Fortunately, we've had the same server, not by choice, but by luck, as the service is why we've returned.

I'm a fan of the Fig Danish Red, and they offer Growlers to take home.

With the improved service, we will definitely make it a regular stop. We've also tried the one is Shell Beach with goo results, the AG location is a simply walk, so convenience beats the Shell Beach view.

Their food lacks in all departments...in a town where there are minimal options why not step it up!? Food is basic and greasy, nothing great, Tri Tip is dry and tastes as if it's been reheated, the corn chowder is way too thick, the chicken is dry and tasteless and the fries (which has the most potential to be good) taste like they've been fried with the seafood. Yuck!

I've been several times because my kids like to order the pizza and remove all the cheese to only take a bite and declare they are full. I've tried numerous items on the menu and each time I'm extremely disappointed. It's over priced bad diner-type food. The staff are usually pretty friendly and nice but today's waiter fell short on a few things and I made a vow today that we'd never go back.
