Tried to use the app to order supper and it wouldnât go through, wife suggested that the Schlotzskyâs in Hobbs NM was very quick so this should take any longer. Turns out the app wouldnât work because it said items were available at this location that were not available. This item was even displayed on the digital menu behind the counter. We were told âwe donât have that yet.â Normally Iâd let that slide. We ordered two soups (2 different flavors) and 2 pizzas (2 different flavors) I canât say it was any longer than your average wait time for a Togo order but it certainly wasnât fast. We took our order and drove home only to discover 1 soup was wrong flavor, it was labeled correctly including the name on our order. Wife was irritated, but refused to allow me to drive back to town to make it right. Then I checked the pizzas, to find 1 or them was also wrong. I know this isnât a 5 star restaurant but come on people. This is a 50% error. What makes it even worse is that each item had a small slip of paper with the name on the order and what it should have been. The papers were all correct. The girl who took our order did her part right but the 6 to 8 people in the kitchen obviously donât know what they have or donât care. Drive through business was consistent but not piled up and inside were 3 people eating one of which was an employee I assume was on break. So no rush there either. I canât say the food was bad just wrong. I suppose that as long as you donât have allergies you will not starve but I sure wouldnât bet that your order will be correct. I get that the place is relatively new to Artesia but...
Read moreI donât Know what Tylerâs problem is but my first time ever coming to this place. The guy opens the window & asks âhow can I help youâ and Iâm like âI just wanna pay for my foodâ and he says âno you didnât get any foodâ and then Iâm like âwhat are you talking about?â and âhe says âyou just came in asking about how flat our flatbread is and left without orderingâ and Iâm like âI have no idea what youâre talking about. Iâve never been to this place before in my lifeâ And then he just looked at me all awkward. Iâm like âI just wanna pay for my foodâ and then some chick walks up giggling saying âoh my bad it was just mistake.â He was rude and dismissive , You donât come up to the drive-through window, accusing customers of stuff. This interaction made me feel very uncomfortable and I will definitely never be returning to this establishment ever again. Very terrible...
Read moreI love Schlotskys. Since it has been a long time that I had one, it was great to have our first Schlotskys in my little town. I waited a couple weeks for the 'newnest' to wind down before I purchased one. Unfortunately, my experience was not a good one. There was so much meat on the sandwich that I had to literally take it apart and use a fork. Next time, if I go back, I will have to tell the clerk NOT to overpack the sandwich with so much meat! It actually did not even taste like the Schlotskys that I remember. It's too bad. If they were trying to draw more customers by overloading the sandwich with too much meat, they were wrong. From many years ago, when I had my first Schlotskys, to the last one I enjoyed over two years ago, this latest sandwich did NOT even taste like a familiar...
