Whenever I go to a Mexican a restaurant I always make sure to ask where the owners are from. As a Mexican I know that not all Mexican food is made the same. Fortunately El Guacamole hails from Oaxaca, the state with the best food. Since it’s obvious that this restaurant is fairly new I won’t comment on their appearance and tiny imperfections but instead I’ll focus on their food and surprisingly fair prices. I ordered the mole, and I like that they have chicken and pork as meat options. The mole was a little pasty for my taste but it was very flavorful and rich. I will also comment on the beans because they were a nice surprise, very good. We also tried their sopes, and sopes are always a safe choice so they didn’t disappoint here. Don’t miss out on trying their salsas on your food, they’re spicy but delicious! The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is their Horchata, it tastes like liquid rice pudding, some people might like that though. I can’t wait to return and try other dishes!

We need more people to go and enjoy a great meal at El Guacamole! We went today and the food was delicious! We were warmly greeted and our server Edwin was attentive, making sure we had chips and drinks right away. This is a family owned restaurant. It’s large and very comfortable, accessible with plenty of room between tables. The menu is varied and the dishes are generous and so good! There are shelves in the back with lots of snacks. We truly enjoyed it and will return.

Went on a Tuesday and everything was quiet. Agua de horchata does taste like rice pudding but who doesn't love rice pudding! Waiter was very nice got the tacos al pastor and asada fries. Tacos al pastor loved them sweet grilled pineapple make it 1000 times better! The asada fries it tasted more like cecina then asada but it was good... personally I'm not a cecina fan but my husband is! Overall I recommend!

I went on there website to order for a pickup, never been here before. The website says to make an order, do it through there online app, it states , "it's the preferred way to order". So I do that. When I go to pick it up, I look at there menu and I paid approximately $10 more then the menu prices. When I brought this to the attention of the person who worked there, he said, yeah there is a 30% markup when ordering thru the app. He said it's like a GrubHub. There website tells you to order this way!! But I said, I'm picking it up, not getting the food delivered. He said, I know, it doesn't matter. So if I called the order in, it would have been $10 cheaper. He said, I'll throw in some chips and salsa. The complimentary chips and salsa you get anyways. I love Mexican food. Fortunately for me and my family, there are many OTHER Mexican restaurants in the area. So, you got my $10. But you didn't get a returning customer. Since the food itself was nothing special, just basic, I implore everyone in the area to just call in the order, cuz the markup was not worth it or just avoid all together for the app scam...

Amazing!!! We went at 730 on a Saturday and it was empty and we hesitated. It closed at 8. Glad we listened to the reviews because it was the best mexican we’ve had in a long time. My daughter had steak enchiladas and I had steak chimichangas. Both absolutely delicious. Warm chips and very tasty sauces to start. Price for two of us was only $37 and we have another meal in a doggy bag. Atmosphere is festive and also a bit spare. Bathroom was spotlessly clean. Will definitely return...
