Ashley has poured her heart, soul, blood, sweat, and tears into creating and cultivating Steady Hand Cafe! Following along her journey from idea to opening to growth has been magical!

Time, energy, and thoughtfulness is evident upon first setting eyes on Steady Hand Cafe’s set-up within Cats Luck Vegan in Asbury Park. Sustainable drinks are and accessories are mindfully placed alongside the mobile cafe equipment.

The care that is taken in curating the homemade syrups, coffee/bean selection, and dairy-free/vegan ingredients is apparent in just reading the menu, and further driven home upon trying any of her hand-crafted beverages!

I had the wonderful opportunity to try the Lattes-to-Go prior to the official cafe opening and OMG are they amazing. I look forward to the opportunity to visit again in the near future- I know I will be supporting a hard-working, community-minded, dedicated human (and getting amazing coffee in return!)

Any 1 star reviews you may read were left in a trolling/harassment attack and have been reported, but please continue to be diligent and report them if you see the empty and unjust comments...

I wanted to love this place since it's by my dog's groomer and I'd heard great things about the St. Laurent cart, but I was rather disappointed. My cereal milk latte had a very bitter and off-putting taste to the point where I couldn't have more than a few sips. I was also shocked at the $6.50 cost of a 12 oz iced latte. Furthermore, my time in the cafe was marred by (who I assume was) the owner loudly reading out negative Google reviews to her staff. She was complaining about allegedly fake reviews and noting in detail what was incorrect about each one. I obviously don't know if the reviews are fake, but it came off as wildly unprofessional, especially since I could hear the entire conversation from the other side of the cafe. I did enjoy the colorful decor and eclectic art. The barista was very kind and knowledgable of the menu. I hope this cafe can find its footing soon as I would love to return and try...

Truly– if I could give Steady Hand Cafe a trillion stars, I would (and even then probably a few more!) Not only are the flavor combinations unique and utterly genius, but the skills with the basics are flawless. The super curated and cute items to shop while your drinks are being made are SO fun and make the perfect gifts. To top it off, the owner is a wonderfully kind, hugely creative, talented, and passionate human. These drinks are a labor of love and a result of a true culinary gift.

Bottom line: not only are the drinks the tastiest EVER (seriously, I can’t choose a favorite…but the Blue Jasmine tea latte is out of this world! Also obsessed with the Matcha latte), but their commitment to supporting the community in real ways is something all local businesses...
