Back In Time Cafe — Restaurant in Bradley Beach

Just spent $6.50 for a terrible cappuccino. No love put into it and they really didn't put in the effort to even fill the to go cup up. I don't write reviews ever....but I was kinda just disappointed in the quality of the product that I was served and the long time it took to get a mediocre product to me.

The staff was very young, summer job for teenagers I think, which is awesome...they're getting that money and the work experience and I support that...with that being said, they were nice at the counter but really that was it.

The atmosphere was nice and there's lots of potential, but until they get the basics down with simple things like coffee...I don't see this place being somewhere that I would take the risk of ordering food from...especially with the amount of money that they are asking for the products I am seeing in the pictures.

Not attacking at all, just being honest. The owner seems to have a big hand in the operation and seems to love their business. Im sure once they reach whatever financial milestones that they have they will make improvements. It's hard running a cafe. I wouldn't know what it takes....

I hope the business grows and improves to be a popular place that provides a nice and unique product that will prove why small businesses are the way to go if one wants...

The People are as kind and delicious as the food. It's the little gem of Bradley Beach. The owner takes great pride in her food preparation. She bakes scones and other delightful treats from scratch, old school. There is a great breakfast lineup. My fave is the Sunshine Sandwich, a croissant with easy over egg, thick bacon, avocado, tomato and other goodies. Freshly made (real) Belgian waffles, A large pie like wedge of Italian style egg Frittata cooked with red pepper, potatoes etc...... A wonderful 3 cheese Quiche, soft and delicious. i love back in time! fantastic food, great service, excellent coffee and the location is wonderful, a "vintage" train station (yes, right inside the station!) in bradley beach. there's indoor and outdoor seating - it's a place to chill, to bring friends (we always bring friends here when they visit bradley). everything on the menu is delicious: egg sandwiches, roast turkey, nutella french toast, fresh-squeezed orange juice and bottomless hot coffee. the baked goods are outstanding, amazing croissants and breads - their multi-grain is so good. i love, love, love this place (i'm a regular) and can't...
