Was in the mood for a burger. 5 guys wherever you go typically deliver. First time at this particular 5 guys. Went up to order and to this day I have not a clue what he was saying to me at all. I just went up an ordered and he was saying something to me while picking up cups and not really seeming to listen to what I said. Anyway, I just told him what I wanted while he kept talking over me and hoped for the best. If interested I ordered a cheesburger with ketchup and mustard and mushrooms. Got everything I ordered but very little mustard. Was going to go back back said no. Fries where way over cooked and soaked in grease. Burger was fine. I think many of these owners think that they cannot lose with a 5 guys franchise and that's exactly how they treated me. Rush rush rush.....push this push that and not really listen to the customer or speak clearly. Honestly, as I write this I still have no idea what this gentleman ever said to me. Not one word. Anyway, gave them a chance....never again...
Read moreHere's the tea. I came in and ordered a regular sized cajun fry and a peanut butter shake. I received my fries, but then I waited over ten minutes. Ten. Minutes for my milkshake. There was no one else in the restaurant and there were 4 employees closing behind the counter. They proceeded to ignore me as I stood patiently waiting for my milkshake. I saw one of the employees making a milkshake and I thought it was mine. But it was not. It was his milkshake. And as he started to break down the shake machine I realized that they did not intend to make my milkshake or even acknowledge my existence. I finally got their attention and then they made my milkshake. It was a low quality shake and did not taste like peanut butter. But there was one very kind employee that was very nice to my friend. Read moreUpdate 3/2022 I have to lower star rating due to customer service. It's bad enough that you have to pay $11 for a burger, but now they will not even take your order directly. When phoning in an order they are forcing you to use an automated system which does not allow requesting extra lettuce. I tried skipping straight to a live person and they refused to take my order over the phone. I tried to explain that I could not properly register my order on the automated system. Apparently they want you to do an automated order, hang up, and then call back to the store to modify the order?! I am at the restaurant by the time I do all of that. So I just decided to go to Wawa and get a healthy salad instead. Original review : They have gotten better about making your burger and having it close to ready when you arrive.
