King's Chinese Kitchen — Restaurant in Asheville

whoever answered the phone to take my order was EXTREMELY rude, refused to put me on the phone with someone else when i expressed this, and was just beyond unprofessional. we love coming here and have never had such an issue, but seems lately things are not the same. Whoever the man is you have taking orders, i’d reconsider having him work directly with the public, or at all really. so disappointing. when i arrived to pick up, the women at the counter told me her and the man cooking are the “managers” when i asked when their BOSS would be there to discuss. she then goes on to try and convince me they have a third party that answers the phone, which i know is not true, i have watched them answer their phone and take orders on many of occasions while picking up. so you were rude to me, hung up, refused to get a higher up boss, and then lied right to my face. must be nice being the only chinese take out around and being able to treat customers however huh? i won’t be back. and even tho i’m sure my one business won’t make a difference, if you keep treating people that way, i won’t...

On 10/30/21 I got food from King's cuz my coworkers had ordered food. Why not somthing new. Never ever will I step foot in that place again. I payed $14.22 for the picture above on top of 4 dollar tip at 2:26pm. Yes the price got me first but then said oh well let's eat. Well I got to eat a snack for lunch because the noodles where not Edible do to taste and mush. Charged 4 extra dollars to get noodles instead of fried rice. Freaking nuts. I guess lunch specials stop too cuz of covid smh. My son wouldn't even eat the noodles (on his 20th b'day). I hate I'm doing this because in my 40 yrs this is my 3rd time posting a bad review. I've always bragged about Kings kitchen. But today's experience put a bad taste in my mouth. Check your food before leaving. Make sure the order is correct. Because, Once you get home and you figure out it's not correct, They basically call you a liar. My mom ordered Orange and I ordered General. They ended up being both General. After 3 calls the restaurant made back to use. Nothing was done about it. But the lady, making the calls to us, said the owner was the one that bagged our food, and our order was correct.
