I placed my order through the app, and parked at Curbside Spot #1 around 10:50. After not receiving my order for 15 minutes, I went inside to see what the hold-up was. I was completely ignored as I stood at the pick-up counter. I also overheard, SEVERAL times, someone in the back asking, "Did this order ever go out?" "Did number 1 go out?"
At around 11:15, a lady finally came out with my order. I asked, "was this just sitting back there?" and she said, "Yes". I said, "So, it's probably cold now?" She responded, "Yeah, probably... do you want to speak to a manger?"
I was already late for work, so I had NO TIME, so I just left. After getting back to my car, I realized the Biscuit had NO EGG on it. Just Cheese and Bacon. I even double-checked my order on the app, and I had entered it correctly. I had NO MORE TIME to go back in, so I called the store and spoke to one of the managers. He said, "I don't think we made it wrong... maybe you said it wrong, or maybe they rang it in wrong"... I told him, no, I placed it through the app, and the order was correct, so they'd just made it wrong. "Well, come back and I'll remake it..." You make me wait for 25 MINUTES for my order, then you MAKE IT WRONG... and all you can offer is to remake the biscuit for me? Which would require me driving back out there?
This store has been lackluster for a while, with them constantly either getting orders wrong or having an excessive wait... but this!? I am amazed at the level of incompetence...
Read moreI very rarely leave reviews just because of the place being slow, but this place deserves every bit of it. It would take them longer to prepare 2 cups of tea with lemon than it would take for you to write an essay about how McDonald’s was founded. We are here right now as we are leaving waiting for tea. There are four people waiting to order, and six people waiting for their order.
A man just came out to give somebody their order, and It seems that there is just one employee that’s doing everything out front (taking/filling orders)by himself. The employees are supposed to work together. Not one person do everything, and everybody else sit and talk. Most businesses don’t really aggravate me, but this one did. I pushed a button on the kiosk for somebody to come to take other people’s orders, and nobody came. I understand that the kid is trying his best to do everything, but he shouldn’t have to do everything. The other employees should be on the ball. I hear a lot of chattering in the back.
So if you’re on a 30 minute lunch break, just find something at work. You’ll be out of time before you even get your food.
As I said, I want to stress that it is not the one kid was working‘s fault. He was running and going crazy trying to fill all the orders. But where was everyone else????
Another sidenote: dear corporate, don’t put up walls right behind the counter. The people in the back need to see how many people are waiting.
As I said, I do not often...
Read moreIf I could give them negative stars, I would. The GM, Joseph, is easily the rudest most condescending little man I have ever had the displeasure of knowing. The way he treats his staff is deplorable and I have witnessed many, many instances of harassment. I have also seen the food handling. Not good. I’m referring to the location on New Leicester Highway. The general upkeep of the restaurant is in chaos. Multiple leaks from the roof, I have observed those leaks land on surfaces for food preparation and cooking. There is, or was, a backed up drain pipe that spread across the kitchen floor, and it didn’t matter to anyone. The rotation of perishable food is a joke. I can’t believe the health inspector has left them open, and I will never spend another cent at any location. This one is corporate, and it’s painfully obvious what the bottom line is. Here’s the kicker… I have a child, kids love McDonalds, but even he doesn’t want food from there. It would do the corporation some good to go there and kick some tires, I have a feeling they wouldn’t be very happy. In fact, I hope they would be mortified to be putting their name on that so called “product.” It’s great being able to spend $1 for a cheeseburger. But the next time you do, remember why it’s so cheap. A few extra dollars for clean and good food also comes with dessert....
