We went here because a friend went to college in Athens and said this was his favorite pizza while he was in school down there. I thought the pizza was alright. We also ordered side salads and waffle chips with Cajun seasoning. The salads were jam packed in those tiny bowls. The chips were crispy and flavorful. The men's restroom was unique as the walls are brick and metal. 3 different heights of urinals. The stall door was odd as it was high off the floor. I liked the sink. It is like one found in a kitchen. Deep metal with tons of room to wash your hands(the opposite of a typical small porcelain sink). The music being played was country. It was really loud too. I saw a couple groups sit down and then move to the courtyard outside where it was not as loud. Would I go back? Most definitely.

I've lived in Athens for years, and I love pizza, so why have I never been here? Oh yea, it is because I assumed it would be populated by college kids and the pizza would be very overrated at best (like Avalanche) and bad at worst. The day I finally ventured here there weren't any customers (over Summer), and the pizza was surpringly good (easily surpassing my low expectations). The crust was thin and good, the cheese had flavor, and the sauce had a bit of tang. They also have decent fried pickles, which are something that most restaurants just get wrong from a variety of reasons. I don't like that they use styrofoam plates. Anyway, I plan to add this to my list of pizza places.

Bar server on 11/12 couldn’t give any less. She really couldn’t. Came to grab a bite to eat and round of drinks. Ordered the slushie and it came out with a stir stick you couldn’t drink through. Ordered an app and and it never came out until the pizzas. Ordered a white chicken pizza and a Marg pizza. White chicken was good but Marg was a normal cheese pizza they put tomatoes on. Got a spec book? I’ll add a picture so you know I’m not making this up. It just sucked and we usually love this place. Guess it was just a Sunday.

The pizza is great. But, I went on a Sunday at 5:30 to pick up a basic cheese pizza 14in and it took 40min+ on a low traffic day and time and no one was at the place basically (8 people max). There should not have been a reason why I had to wait ~40min for this. They are faster on Fridays and Saturdays during peak times which makes no sense. The “bros” broing out in the back while there’s a line of people waiting in the pickup line is inexcusable and at times while patiently waiting in the store, it seemed like they didn’t know what they were doing. One of them even came out of the work area to check in on a basketball game while a full line of customers were waiting for their pizza. Look I know I’m not a hot chick but it shouldn’t take 30 min to even acknowledge that I am standing there. I know this review won’t do much to change their rating but hopefully, it will give management a notice to review their staff

The pizza is really good...

Horrible subs. Ordered a Meatball sub with extra cheese, extra meatballs and extra pepperoni and a Pizza Sub with extra cheese, extra mushrooms and extra pepperoni both toasted heavily and loaded potato chips. What I got was a Meatball sub with 4 meatballs, light on the cheese and very little pepperoni and on the Pizza sub very little mushrooms and pepperoni's. Both looked toasted but the bread was far from toasted. It was very soft and squishy. The meatballs looked burnt and were very dry. This was for take-out and oh the music was so loud the counter person and I could barely hear each other even being less then a foot away we had to talk so close. The loaded potato chips were just as bad. They were half if that loaded. And I saw about 4 pieces of bacon on the chips. This place is horrible. Luckily I am not a college kid who's drunk cause I won't be eating...
