We usually have a great experience with this Dominos pizza restaurant, however on Thursday, November 17, 2022 I had my first bad experience with them. I was trying to place an order online like I normally would do, however this was a bigger order than normal and there was an online limit of $30 for a cash order. I was already in town and didn't realize at the time that I had my card on me and thought I was going to have to use cash, so I stopped by to place my order. I walked in and straight to the counter, and some other people walked in behind me. Catherine asked me if I had a pick up order so I said "no",to which she waived me to move to the side and she started waiting on the people BEHIND ME in line. She never spoke to me again. No explanation as to why she treated me that way, no apology, NOTHING!! so after about 3 customers, I told my grand daughter "come on I guess we're not going to be waited on" and we went to the car. I was, of course FURIOUS with Catherine. I was trying to get my phone to call my husband and find out what else we could get everyone for dinner, you see we had company over and Dominos had some really good coupons. In the process of doing this I found my card. So I sat in my car and placed our online order after all, and we waited for it to be made. When it was done, Catherine went over to the table where they make the pizza and wouldn't have anything to do with me, wouldn't even look in my direction, had SOMEONE ELSE wait on me. This after I watched her wait on every customer that walked into the store for about 45 minutes while I waited for my pizza order. There is something VERY WRONG with this picture and it has CATHERINE'S NAME all over it. My husband and I will continue to get our pizza from this Dominos, however, I hope management really reconsiders who they have waiting on...
Read moreUntil today, my wife and I have been frequent Dominoes customers. Typically we order online and pay with a card. Today we were low on money in the bank so decided to use all our quarters to get pizza as we were hungry. This location in Athens straight up wasted the food and turned us away saying "we aren't going to count that money". I get it, $33 in quarters is a lot, even if we did have it all pre counted and ready. But man this generation is lazy. I'm 34 and not all that long ago I worked retail and had to count change just like this regularly. It IS still legal tender and technically you cannot refuse it. It is just a part of your job, deal with it. Nowhere was there even a notice posted about change or anything. Just lazy staff. We have both sworn off dominos for good. At any location. It's a shame what lazy employees can do to a business. If we were dining in at an expensive restaurant, that would be different. But man, this is Dominoes. This type of thing IS your customer demographic. We were able to go down the road to another restaurant that took our legal money without complaint and even had great customer service. I'll give THEM a...
Read moreOrdered a chicken Buffalo pizza, no American cheese. Get the pizza with no Buffalo sauce. The manager said he would make us another. My husband said ‘no American cheese’. To which the manager replied ‘You’re unAmerican if you don’t like American cheese. And not adding the American cheese will ruin the pizza. And I can’t make the pizza without the American cheese’. He wasn’t joking. My husband said ‘keep the pizza’. Ordered a half cheese, half pepperoni. There was no cheese on the cheese side. I asked why. Response I was given ‘well the pepperonis move around when it’s baking and they slid the cheese to the other side’. I asked him to remake it, after arguing about me just accepting the pizza, he finally remade it. My experience was no joke, but whoever runs this place, is. My go to pizza joint is Marco’s. Athens doesn’t have one, and I guess I’ll just be going to Ken’s. We were insulted and disappointed. Shame,...
