Golden Chopstix Express — Restaurant in Athens

I've eaten a lot of Chinese food all over the world and the US. I've been to Chinatown in NY, LA, San Francisco, London, and Victoria. I've eaten Chinese food in Moscow and South Africa. I've traveled through China twice. So, I know Chinese food. This is by FAR the worst I've ever eaten. That includes mall Chinese, which is pretty bad. Everything is soggy and tasteless. Stuff is fried, but then it sits in wet liquid. Not sticky, thick, corn syrup stuff like Panda, but watery, bland liquid. The meats are tough. And the price is way too much for express. Think $10 for a 2 item box. So, the price is more than a sit down restaurant and the food is inedible. I've tried it twice, because hey, anyone can have a bad...

I’m not really sure about all the reviews in here with the five start. As generous as I would like to be to this place, perhaps the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in every aspect of it. Food freshness, quality and flavors; the worst. Great when they're open. I haven't caught them open in a long time, but I haven't been in that area in a very long time. I know you used to be able to get a lot of good food really cheap. I need to find them open again and get some noodles and other goodies. The employees were always nice and would give little freebies from time to time. Such great food for the price! I hope...
