Little Caesars Pizza — Restaurant in Athens

Year ago I gave this Little Caesars a 5-star review, but that has drastically changed now. I can’t remember the last time I went in and was able to actually get a “hot-n-ready” pizza. While they advertise it all over the place, they never have them in my experience.

Then there’s today. I ordered a “hot-n-ready” cheese pizza with an order of crazy bread. Even though it was 12:30pm (lunch period) neither were on hand. I was told the only thing they had available was a pepperoni that was about to come out of the oven. After waiting 15mins for my order, I was out the door and headed to the park so my kids could enjoy a pizza and play. Got to the park and discovered that the order of crazy bread that should have been fresh was a wad of undercooked dough wrapped up in 1,000 pieces of paper. Honestly, looks like it was something someone was about to throw in the trash and instead gave to me. You can view the pictures and determine for yourselves what went wrong.

To their credit, when I returned to the store to talk to someone about it, the guy behind the counter didn’t hesitate to apologize and refund me the total of my entire order.

All of that to say that I would not recommend this Little Caesars to anyone. Not just because of this visit, but random visits over the past couple of years that have produced...

This place is terrible placed an order through their website and apparently door dash delivers for them. My order never came with the drinks not any fault of the dasher THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE IT IN STOCK. As I call to try to tell the little Caesar's customer service person he gets a manager who then proceeds to not ever let me talk and tells me to call door dash and hangs up on me. I spent 14 more calls trying to get ahold of him to let him know my pizza was wrong too and finally he tells me we didn't have stuffed crust in stock so we just replaced it with pepperoni . What the heck?! That's not what I paid for. Then he hung up on me again. Refused to tell me his name and when I called others that answered they refused and said he wasn't there. lol apparently all middle schoolers work there. Oh and I'm banned from the store. Hahaha what a joke. This guy has his high horse on and needs to get off...

The place kinda sucks to go into, especially if people are waiting. No seats to wait either. (I wait in my car because I don't like having to have everyone all up in my face waiting) The food tastes good... BUT...it makes me have a stomach ache when I eat their pizza. Something is off with their crust. I heard others say the exact same thing. I like the taste but often don't go because I don't want to have the pain from eating it. It must have something inedible in the crust as a filler and it won't digest right. I don't have this issue with ANY other pizza anywhere else. Also...they went way up on their prices and they just keep on going up. It's going to end up in the same prices as the better pizza places. They are known for giving pizza to the homeless though...at least the one in Decatur does. That's a good thing. More restaurants should do the same... especially before they...
