I am a sushi connoisseur. I am used to eating sushi in Seattle. I guess it’s not fair for me to judge since Ohio is a land locked state away from any salt water and with only access to fresh water. You can definitely tell a difference with the quality of food from the regional aspects. The food was sweeter than I’m used to. So if you’re looking for authentic sushi this is not the place. The wasabi was not hot or spicy. However they do provide fresh ginger which was lovely. The miso soup was also very bland. They didn’t provide any green onion. This is in a college town so if you’re looking for something quick and easy I guess the inexpensive qualities give you a quick fix for eating. But like most quick fixes they’re not as satisfying. Friendly place. Quick food. And if you sit outside it’s great people watching. But overall I would have to give this a two star for sushi restaurant but then again I’ve had some of the top quality sushi around the world and US states. This is one step above grocery store quality. The flavor was very bland.

Had a nice lunch. I ordered Japanese Udon Noodle (Stir Fry) w/ shrimp. My wife had the same w/ chicken. Had generous portion of good sized shrimp. Noodles were good and the zucchini and mushrooms were good as well. Service was friendly and helpful $30 for the two of us w/ drinks

Buyer beware! The numbering on the paper menu and the menu screens at the counter DO NOT MATCH the numbering on the register. To order by number YOU MUST refer to the online ordering menu. But, as long as you like whatever you get even if it's not what you thought, it's not a bad accident. As far as the food goes, the actual quality was about as you'd expect for sushi in the rural Midwest: not terrible but not what you'd get in a big city or on a coast. However, I didn't know you could get heatless wasabi--I could swallow the whole scoop of it and never know it was wasabi. Honestly, kind of impressive! And probably a rural Midwest requirement. Something was unexpectedly sweet, though. It might have been the type of rice they used or the soy sauce. All in all, I'm not sure I'd go back for the sushi, but might try some of the dishes folks liked in...

My brother, father, and I went here on a whim. We were very pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is clean and of a minimal design, with the main feature of decoration being a massive chalkboard that customers are encouraged to sign. They have chalk ready on the side. Between the three of us, we ordered the shrimp hibachi, sashimi plate, tuna roll, and salmon avocado roll. All were prepared with fantastic quality, especially considering the low price point. There was calm piano playing in the background. Overall,...
