I frequent this restaurant every week cause I love the salads. Yesterday, however I picked one up, brought it back to work which is 1 mile down the road. Once I took it out of the bag and looked at it, it was half full, lettuce was older, still good. Just not fresh. and there was barley any meat on it. I ate it anyways and went about my day. I ended up sick to my stomach later that night, along with diaherra. No fun. I called the restaurant and was transferred to a manager by the name of Rachel. I asked her how the salads were prepared, i told her how mine was when I took it out of the bag and she got defensive and pretty much said I was lying. She stated that the salad wilted because of the hot chicken and the drive home.. it was a one mile drive and there was barley any chicken. Not to mention that it was only half full of lettuce. I work in customer service and there is no need for the attitude I was given over the phone. I simply wanted to let her know that the salad I received was not up to standards and they may want to visually examine these before throwing it in a bag. Not worth the $10 I spent on it. Read moreI loved their food. But after the way I was treated, I will never return . It was my first time eating there and I had ordered chicken strips in the drive through. They were advertising about all these amazing sauces they have!! Nobody had asked me what sauce I wanted. So when I got to the window I asked for ranch. They told me “You get Zax sauce or you pay extra since you didn’t mention it when ordering” i told them nobody asked me what sauces so I figured they would at the window. Needless to say, Because I didn’t order it on the intercom, they still charged me and made me pay for ranch on my credit card rather than just swapping it out for me! They were also extremely rude about it! I asked for a manager and it was the manager who was being rude! If someone says they have never been there before and you tell them they have to specify the sauce at the intercom or they will be charged…. Read moreUsually I don't have a problem with the athens Zaxby's Usually my order is right and Usually the food is good but today I go and I order at the drive-thru about 6:40 and they where not busy at all I ordered a Zaxby's original spicy a spicy mushroom and a 3 nibblers meal with Texas toast no fries the lady at the drive-thru reads back my order and I ask her did you get the Texas toast cause I didn't hear her say it she said yes and I say ok I checked 3 times to make sure went to the window and paid then headed home I get home and low and behold she got fries and no Texas toast I grab the receipt and there was no order for Texas toast so we go back and my fiancé goes in and she instantly gets an attitude from the lady at the front counter for telling her the order was wrong I've worked in restaurants and this is no way to treat a customer who feeds your business without customer's there would be no Zaxby's maybe the need to retrain there employees on customer satisfaction and customer treatment very disappointed probably...
