First and last time we will be eating here. Single mom, decided to treat my daughters and I to a new food place. Dine in. For a kids meal and adult meal it came out to $25. Okay np. We got our food and my infant, daughter and I all disliked the food. Ok, let's put bbq sauce on it, nope we didn't like their sauce either. We aren't the type to throw away food. We eat what we ordered but it took a while to get the kids and I to finish food we didn't like. Mind you the place was a ghost town at dinner time. They had drive through customers but we were alone seated inside. The staff was nice and prompt and we had no issues with them. If we hadn't disliked the food the evening wouldn't have been horrible. Went to the restroom to change my 10mo olds diaper and no changing table. At this point I'm just sad. My oldest asked why we went into the bathroom and immediately turned around and I said because they have no changing table. And a worker heard us while we were passing and she apologized despite it not being her fault and she was nice but I just felt defeated and simply replied it's ok we just won't ever be returning here. And we picked up our stuff from our booth and left so I could change the diaper in the car. It's just one of those little things days I guess because the sadness that we paid to eat out as a treat only to dislike the food and to have a bathroom that wasn't baby friendly sucked. Also I had to scrub down the baby high chair when we came in because both of the ones available had old food caked on them. Which I was going to overlook despite them being a ghost town inside I understand that gets overlooked on the cleaning list for multiple different restaurants... But our experience was a bad one so that's my two cents, at bare minimum add a changing table in bathroom and clean the highchairs. Read moreI must start off by saying, you need to hire a whole new staff. The staff that worked the evening of Friday, the 8th of September between 6:30-7:30pm were acting like a complete bunch of idiots and so unprofessional, it really blew us away. When we entered the restaurant, it was completely empty. The only employee behind the counter was the black girl. As we looked at the menu behind her, there was so much wrestling, horseplay and loud, shouting voices going on by the restrooms, that the girl behind the counter had to go to the door, stick her head out and yell to them, “Stop acting stupid! We have customers!” They calmed down for a bit (2 guys, one very tall and 2 girls, all Caucasian) but as soon as she was done taking our order, they started up again. My wife and I went to sit down and after several minutes, noticed two trays up at the front counter. I went to see if they were our trays, and the same girl behind the counter said “I think so.” Instead of telling us when our food was ready, they were fooling around by chasing each other up and down the aisle leading to the restrooms, hanging from the doorway and laughing much too loudly and using the F word and the S word in their conversation which was completely inappropriate and unfortunate for us to hear while eating. They were completely unprofessional and an embarrassment to your company. When I walked towards the restrooms, they all ran to sit in the seats like a bunch of 5 year old children playing musical chairs.
To top it off, my wife received my brisket sandwich and I received her pulled pork. Instead of wasting time and being disruptive, they should have been cleaning the beverage area which was a mess with plastic forks, knives, straws and lids all over the place.
We really enjoy BBQ but with horrible service like this, or lack thereof, there are other places to have BBQ. We would not go to Buddy’s again unless an adult manager is on duty. It may explain why this location was completely empty on a...
Read moreI ordered online and my order was all messed up and we didn't receive items and when I spoke to the lady on the phone instead of taking responsibility for the bad service she started making excuses as to why we got bad service such as they was busy, and in my head I'm thinking of course you was busy its lunch time, busy is no excuse for poor service and excuses, and when I asked for a refund I was told I would have to tell door dash and see if they would give me my money back because when you look them up online there is a button that says order online and its through door dash even, if you are picking it up yourself and that's why they couldn't give me my money back which to me is ridiculous and a way for people to get treated poorly and pass the buck to someone else. So I was supposed to tell door dash that they didn't give my napkins or plastic ware or my drink or bbq on or beside my sandwich, and we had to wait almost 30 minutes past the expected time to even get our food and the lady at the window shoved it out and said here.
