DO NOT GO HERE! (Side note: I have been to this restaurant previously; however, I had a totally different experience from my recent visit). First of all, once I placed my order at this place yesterday, I proceeded to show them my military ID to receive the military discount (the same discount they gave me on my last visit) and the cashier told me, "we can not take your ID for the discount because it's not yours." The cashier was referring to the fact that I have a MILITARY dependent ID; however, if they took it last time, I am not sure why this time is different AND why can I not use my dependent military ID because a military ID is a military ID. đ Furthermore, I paid for the taco plate but I was surprised that it was $11. Then, I waited for while for my food (longer than I expected considering that I am a GSU student trying to grab a quick bite to eat in between classes). The food finally came out after a while and it was two MINI tacos and a small quart sized container of rice and beans. I was sooo upset because I essentially wasted TIME and MONEY and it was definitely not what I expected. I did not have the time or energy to complain to the manager; however, I hope they find this review and fix some things in their establishment and I hope this review can allow potential customers to save their time and money and NOT eat...
Read moreI understand that this establishment looks to be environmentally friendly but make sure when you are addressing patrons that you are respectful. If you need to speak to us about an issue you have with us ordering to go (yes I know...a big deal over to go containers) the entire cafe does not need to hear you scolding us for ordering to go when we had orginally planned on leaving. I was not hungry and so ordered to go and would not have eaten had I not wanted to leave someone who had just arrived to meet our group. Do have some understanding and try not to make assumptions. It would have been nice for a sister not to speak to us that way. Also, your customer service needs help. Someone from my group ordered something similar to what I ordered and mine took probably 3 times the amount of time to be made. Still, I said maybe they are busy but after the unnecessary scolding, I see I shouldn't have been so kind. My friend told me the guy at the counter saw her and didn't even address her when she was ready to order. She had to wait after he knowingly saw that she was ready. Our money is green and we all (yes, including blacks) deserve to be treated with decency because I know I was very polite to members of your...
Read moreThis is one of the HEALTHIEST breakfast sandwiches Iâve ever had. Itâs from their old menu and it essentially has a thin layer of black beans, plantain, and finely chopped veggies.
It kept me full and inspired me to explore my breakfast sandwich opens. Egg, cheese, meat and dairy are not the only ingredients for a delicious morning sandwich.
I donât think the coffee here is worth the price. But if youâre a tourist, you probably wonât mind it.
If you know youâll be staying in Downtown ATL when you visit, this is a place youâll probably want to walk to and enjoy early in the morning before other excursions.
