i want to start by saying that this place has really great vibes and a lot of potential. But, it was lacking in a lot of aspects.
I came here to study with comrades that i organize with. this is the most expensive coffee shop iâve ever been to, and that is a disappointment considering its black centered nature and location in southwest atl. i couldnât really afford to get a cup of coffee there. i did however, want to get some water. unfortunately, they donât provide water for their guests. i had to buy something to drink and so instead i sat thirsty while my sister ate a 15 dollar sandwich. the employees were uninterested and seemingly just trying get through the shift. iâve been there, i understand. but it truly did feel like a wealth extraction project. the primary purpose of the place was not to connect the community or to provide good food or coffee, it is a business and its purpose is to make money for the people who own it. that is also disappointing.
the vibes inside were good, and they had easily accessible outlets for guests use. the internet was slow, but i donât blame them for that.
overall, the place gets a 3.4. very expensive and money oriented, but in a decent location with good vibes. paid water is beyond the pale for me though. iâd advise the owners to think more of their guests and community members, even if their bottom line is still important. thanks...
Read moreIâm not from Atlanta, and Starbucks is usually my go-to spot, but today I decided to switch things upâand WOW, what an incredible experience! CafĂ© Bartique is a charming boutique-style coffee shop that feels like a hidden gem. The intimate, cozy ambiance immediately set the tone for a perfect lunch and work session.
I ordered the Salmich and paired it with the Caan vs. Can espresso. The Salmich is a masterpiece: flaky, toasted croissant stuffed with a lightly seasoned salmon salad, perfectly complemented by fresh tomato, lettuce, and onion. Every bite was a symphony of flavors, and the pickle wedge on the side added just the right tangy touch (bonus points because I LOVE pickles!).
As for the espressoâwow. The Caan vs. Can is a creamy, rich blend with the perfect balance of caramel and pecan flavors. Every sip was smooth and indulgent, topped with a froth that carried the same delightful flavors all the way through.
To top it off, the cafĂ© is decked out in festive holiday dĂ©cor, making it an even cozier spot to settle in with my laptop and espresso. If youâre looking for a flavorful, filling lunch and an indulgent pick-me-up in a relaxed, intimate setting, CafĂ© Bartique should be at the top of your list.
Whether youâre a local or just passing through, treat yourself to this unforgettable experienceâyou...

If you're looking for a place to eat, drink, work, network, play or relax, this is the place for you.
Cafe Bartique offers a family friendly environment. It's very welcoming and inviting. The personal touch that's offered is the allure of the cafe. I'm a sucker for a great experience. I enjoy it so much that I travel from Buckhead to offer my support.
Cafe Bartique is my new "go to" cafe for relaxing as I have a heavy workload during the week.
The seating is very comfortable. Perfect for long visits.
The staff and owners do a lot of things right. I can see Cafe Bartique evolving into a pillar in the community. It certainly has the making to be something special.
Additionally, they play good music at the perfect volume. No more having to talk louder than the music. I can use my inside...
