From my first and only impression, their take-out was nothing special. It seemed more like it was all just commercially packaged frozen food (sold by any grocery store chain) that was tossed in the fryer and then dropped in a styrofoam box. I wasnt at all impressed, but their prices should've been my first clue. I ordered my wings medium, which were a bit too spicy for me, but it's on me for not choosing mild. They were, however really scrawny, very little meat, a bit dried out and not at all tender. I only ate 3 or 4 of the 10 before i gave up on them. No bleu cheese or ranch dressing offered. My 30 fried shrimp were pretty good but only came with one cocktail sauce & one tarter sauce. Fries weren't all that... just very basic, unseasoned, unsalted frozen-to-fryer fries. I couldn't eat more than a few. Entree portions were exactly as described on to-go menu. A group of us ordered lunch and after seeing the grilled jumbo shrimp and steamed broccoli that one chick had, I wished I'd chosen that instead. It looked really good, but of course, i don't know how tasty it actually was. I probably won't order lunch from this place again. After pondering over the question of why they were so crowded during and beyond my lunch break, I can only guess that most of their business comes from regular customers who purchase seafood to take home and cook themselves, as well as offering the convenience of paying with EBT. They also do have plexiglass and wipe their counters often, and allow people to use the one-room unisex restroom...
Read moreI took a few of my church members up there with me who were volunteering with our food pantry to get them something to eat. Because we had a long days of work when we got our food, we did not eat anything while we was there because we had to go work. So we decided to eat it later. Contact the restaurant within the same day to tell them that we had our food and we noticed that it was hair in one plate and the two fried plates, they put too much seasoning, so the food was extremely salty. Then, when it came down to my food, I ask them for very mild because I cannot have any spice and they decide to give me medium. I asked a gentlemen, could I have something that was no spicy just garlic? He told me it's not that spicy, but it was. Very disappointed because they explained to me that if you did not try your food while you were there or call before 5 hours, then there is nothing that they can do even though we still had the food and the hair. It was only 4 pm we went at ll:35 am that day. I have decided to not return to this restaurant. That is not how you do your customers. They could've just offer a 10 to 20% off our next meal, which would have been more accommodating, but to find hair in the food that...
Read moreToday was my first time coming here to get food. While I walked into the door something hit me really had on my head and I stepped aside and looked up to see that it was , itâs like a loose door stopper . The only reason it didnât hit me on my face was because I was looking down while coming in . There are two ladies sitting and waiting on their food that witnessed the incident as well. They were surprised but what was more surprising to me Is the lack of empathy and how the man that worked their dismissed me as if nothing happened and asked me to call the police when I asked about the manager to talk to and he told me that the Manager went to New York and I canât talk to anyone but if I want I should call the police . I have pictures of the incident . I must say that this is not a great way to treat your customer that got hurt because of your carelessness. I still need to talk to the...
