The staff made me feel very uncomfortable. As a queer person myself, I expected more from our community and to not be scolded as a patron. I snapped a candid photo of the space as it was my first time there and a staff member quipped with rapid speed about not taking photography with people in it, directed me to a virtually unnoticeable sign about consent and to delete the photo. While I understand the premise of a safe space and consent - the tone, urgency and way I was made to feel did not make this place feel safe for me as a creative or queer person. I would have appreciated a gentler approach that took into account my good intentions while respecting their rule rather than to make a customer feel like they were committing a crime. I’ve never encountered a place open to the general public that would discourage this in the world of social media. I’ll continue to go to Green Beans up the road whom are equally inclusive. Overall pretty good but still working out some...

The staff is always friendly and thorough with service (shoutout to Michelle, Jared, Joy, and Liz!) and the pastries and coffee are top notch - I recommend their cold brew, a blueberry cream cheese scone, and the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. All the food is made in-house which feels like more and more of a rarity these days with small shops. the patio is cute and funky, generous outdoor seating is a huge plus for me. I highly recommend this shop and will be returning...
