Took my wife here for a date night and had a fantastic time. Even though the beltline (which is visible from everywhere here) is not yet finished, the weather was amazing and they were extremely busy - for good reason.
We ordered two rounds of cocktails, some focaccia and hummus, two wine flights + a glass, the burger and chicken wings, and both desserts. My wife and I tend to split our entrees and let me just say this is an amazing spot for that - the confit wings and burger may sound "too casual" for some but it was perfect pairings with the wines we tried - decadent (and gluten free!) full wings (3 full wings - 3 flats and 3 drumsticks) with a normal sized burger that had a great mild char. The hummus and focaccia was also fantastic as a starter bite - light and spring-y and refreshing, more herbal than garlicky. But the desserts - a bread pudding and a brulee PB&j, holy smokes those were a great end.
Cocktails came out quickly and were right up our alley - they have a great selection of standard and specialty cocktails alongside a full non-alcoholic drink menu (with NA cocktails) and a fun wine list (with some NA wines too - a rose and a sparkling blend!) where everything can be ordered by the glass or as a bottle. The flights are reasonably priced too. Everything on their wine menu is a natural wine and they had some great selections e.g. Day Wines Zibibbo and Domaine de l'Ecu Love and Grapes to name a couple. My wife said "surprise me" for her flight and got an off menu red in her flight that was fantastic.
Service wasn't either super fast nor were they slow - our waitress (shout out to Kayla! she was amazing - my wife and I are obsessed) checked in regularly and made sure we were happy. She even gave us an extra order of bread and wings - they were having some issue with their system, and we were just having such a great time I guess we got lucky!
10/10 would recommend and we'll be back soon. We spent a good bit (look, we were having a blast) but dinner and drinks here can be easily had for under $50 pp...
Read moreWent here last Saturday night during the bachelorette weekend, and this place matched the chill vibe we were looking for. Most of not all of the seating is setup outside with two small buildings used for staff to cook, organize food and take orders - with a little bit of seating located within each. A staff member noticed us walking up and offered to help us find an area to accommodate our group (10 of us). Menus are found through a QR code on the small rectangular blocks on each table.
Everyone got something different but we all seemed to enjoy what we got. I just ordered the Kentucky Mule as my drink and Warm Chocolate Chip Cookies as a snack since I planned to eat food we had back at our Airbnb. Well, I was pleasantly surprised to see two massive cookies served on a plate to me and they were perfection! Served warm, soft and gooey in the center but not in a way that made to question if it was baked right and the salt topping is something I did appreciate. I gave the second one to others in my group and they also raves about how good it was. To pay, we scanned that QR code again and it was a pretty simple process as our bill as already split up for us per person. Before we left, the staff offered the bride-to-be a complimentary dessert of her choice, which was such a sweet,...
Read moreWe really wanted to like this place. It has all the ingredients to be stellar—perfect location, great design, and a unique atmosphere. But too much was lacking to recommend it.
The problems started the moment we arrived. With two separate buildings, no signage, and no visible host or host stand, we were left wandering around unsure where to go or who to talk to. The vibe was immediately off—loud heavy rock music blaring in a space that’s supposedly a Southwestern-themed wine bar.
Service was slow across the board. The bar was so backed up that even a simple glass of wine took 15 minutes. Every dish arrived with uncertainty—“Did you order this? No? Okay, let me check”—which didn’t inspire much confidence.
The food didn’t deliver either. The smoked Caesar salad was pretty much just smoke, and the $17 burger was aggressively acidic, heavy on mustard, and overall a poor value.
I understand it takes time to iron out the kinks in a new restaurant, and I respect anyone taking that risk—but there are a lot of kinks to work out here before I’d consider coming...
