I never knew Howdy existed until a friend told me I had to try it out. The location is in an area that was convenient so I decided to stop in. Though there isn’t a parking lot there is ample street parking. Once I pulled up I immediately felt the coziness of Howdy from the outside. Walking in, the space is huge and has a warm rustic design concept with the hardwood floors and open floor plan. The smell of warmed baked goods filled the location and enticed my taste buds. As it was a cheat day for me, I was ready for one of everything. LoL. Once inside the store space, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The display case had a variety of baked goods and everything looked amazing. The coffee selections are in abundance as well so there is something for everyone. I engaged in conversation with the staffer as I was torn on which baked good to choose. The exchange was very pleasant and informative. As such, I decided on the Coffee Cake with an Americano. I placed my order, paid, and stood to the side while my order was made. Once finished, I was called by Jane and retrieved my order. The Americano was vibrant and soothing. The brew was perfectly hot without being burnt. The flavor profile as a whole was spot on and enhanced with my added shots of French Vanilla flavoring. The coffee cake was moist, flavorful, and crumbly just like it should be. You could tell this was baked with care and not out of a box. The price I paid for my order was a level $$, however, the freshness and service made it worth the price. Great service. Great experience. Clean environment. Variety of options. Howdy Atl is def a place for all coffee lovers and breakfast eaters to visit. I know I’ll be back soon.

An IMPRESSIVE 5 stars - probably the best meal I've had in Atlanta! Located just next to the Zoo Atlanta entrance, this quiet breakfast spot offers your classic southern breakfast options, like grits and biscuits, with vegetarian and vegan versions as well. I opted for grits with veggie sausage and a pimento cheese biscuit sandwich, both of which were piping hot and EXCELLENT. The grits came with a disposable wooden spoon, which I appreciated for its sustainability, and it was quite easy to eat on the go. The veggie sausage more than met my expectations, and it was great as a combination with the grits. I've never been big on southern food, but this spot singlehandedly made me a grits lover. The biscuit was wrapped in foil, and as I unwrapped it to take a bite, the generous serving of pimento cheese oozed out beautifully. It was my first time trying this staple, and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. On top of the fantastic food, the staff working here was extremely nice. The interior isn't very large, but there's a counter where you could read the news or peruse the books and prints by local creators that are displayed for purchase.

Charming, locally owned coffee shop with delicious treats, biscuits and other breakfast and lunch items with the friendliest and most kind staff! I love to stop here for something to-go and I also sometimes stay and work for an hour or two. The coffee (I usually get a flavored latte but sometimes try one of their monthly special drinks) is amazing and I love their biscuits and vegan sausage. For something sweet, the Howdy Bar is amazing (and freshly homemade). I meant to take a photo but I ate it before I remembered so here's a pic of them behind the counter. Their other sweets look great as well, but I just can't resist the Howdy Bar. I also love that they use reusable cups (even for water) when dining in. And they have a cute area with children's books for families that come to hang out. Make sure to get a punch card because you'll be back!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Howdy in Grant Park, a delightful bakery and coffee shop that exceeded all my expectations. This small establishment offers an impressive array of options for those with dietary restrictions, particularly those requiring dairy-free and gluten-free alternatives.

One of the standout features of Howdy is their exceptional customer service. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. In particular, Boyd Baker, the owner and chef, left a lasting impression on me with his genuine passion and dedication to creating delicious food for all customers, regardless of their allergies or dietary restrictions. He goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone feels welcome and satisfied with their choices.

The menu at Howdy is a treasure trove for those seeking dairy-free and gluten-free options. From tantalizing pastries to mouthwatering coffee creations, there is something for everyone. What impressed me the most was Boyd's commitment to continuously expanding the menu and creating new recipes to cater to the diverse needs of his clientele. It's evident that he takes great pride in his craft and genuinely cares about the satisfaction of his customers.

During my visit, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment at Howdy. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and savor a delectable treat. The quality and taste of the food were exceptional, exceeding even my highest expectations. The care and attention to detail that Boyd puts into each dish are truly remarkable.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend Howdy in Grant Park enough. It is a haven. The outstanding customer service, led by the friendly and dedicated Boyd Baker, only adds to the overall experience. Whether you're looking for a quick coffee or a delightful pastry, Howdy is sure to deliver an unforgettable experience.

I was in the area and in my trek to find great places in Atlanta to enjoy a meal this was literally 8 minutes from where I was staying. I decided to get up and head over. It’s literally located right across from Zoo Atlanta and it’s was pretty cool to hear the lions bellowing as me and my partner were heading into the establishment.

This place was very welcoming and screamed right into the heart of my creative side. They have a very extensive coffee menu, tea menu and breakfast menu that consist of lots of “handhelds”. I myself ordered an Arnold Palmer and the drop cheese bacon egg and cheese biscuit and my partner order the breakfast burrito with lemonade. We decided to dine and and noticed there is a completely separate dining area located towards the back which consisted of plenty of seating, great low playing music and book shelf that had kids books as well as adult literature and a big open window view. We seated near the window and out of food came. It was absolutely delicious!! If I wasn’t being conscious of my weight I would have easily ordered another one. I’m from NYC so I really enjoyed the vibe of the place. There were several people reading on tablets or working on the their lab tops have what I could only imagine was a great cup of coffee. They do have an outdoor seating are and pets are definitely welcome for all those that have the fur babies. I will be back to this place and if you haven’t you need to get over there and see what Howdy...
