Where is the zero stars when you need them.
Firstly,
I want to say, I’m not even a, leave a bad review, type of person. I have been to many Jimmy John’s all over the country and usually receive pretty good service. This location was different. People in this area, in general, are mostly kind and helpful, but not Arie. I met her today, and she is the reason I will never be going back to this location.
As I walk in the establishment Arie is on her phone like most young adults these days, which is fine. I began asking was the store phone working because no one was answering. The only people in the store was one person dining in and her. She then asks me do I have the right number. At this point, early on, I could sense an attitude. I then told her I think so, I used what was on Google. She acted like she wasn’t aware but did nothing to see why the phone wasn’t ringing in-store.
Afterwards, she asked what am I having so I started calling out my order. The whole time she is on her phone not really paying attention and entering the order in the computer. I repeated myself multiple times because she wasn’t focused. As she starts making the sandwich she adds vinegar and oil. I let her know politely that I didn’t ask for that to be included. She rolls her eyes and said you said you want sauce. I said no, I said I want “salt” and pepper. She throws the lettuce away and continues to make the sandwich.
By now, Arie is done and another lady casually walks in and goes behind the counter. At that point I asked if she had added the Dijon. She says “oh my god” 😳. In my head I’m like “you” forgot something, but I’m the problem. So I asked her “why does it seem like you have an attitude?” She states “ because I’m asking for too much”. Wow! I said look I’m a paying customer I haven’t asked for anything out of her scope of work.
We exchange a few sentences at this point I can’t remember exactly because now I’m frustrated. I look at the other lady and ask for a manager. She tells me she is her mom. I’m like ok, is there a manager? Both of them say they were the manager so I asked for a DM OR GM number and they show a sign to call.
All in all, I know we are in a pandemic. I get it, hard workers are hard to find especially for the pay she is probably receiving, but that still is no excuse to treat people who decide to come in and spend their hard earned money, to be treated the way I was treated today. I wouldn’t want anyone to lose a source of income but she and her Mom definitely need to be retrained.

Read moreThis restaurant is a hot, ghetto, hood mess! Is the owner not looking at these reviews?! Had I seen them first, I would not have stepped foot in this place today. I ordered a sandwich today after the typical lunch rush. I noticed that after I’d paid, I was not provided a receipt. I was wondering how I would know when my order was ready. I proceeded to sit down and wait. I saw others were waiting as well. Eventually some of the customers went to the counter, picked up sandwiches to look at the names, and either took them or put them back. That should have been a clue for me. I sat for about 15 minutes before one of the sandwich makers said in a strong, scolding tone, “Ma’am your order has been waiting for you for the longest. It’s sitting right here.” I said, well I didn’t get a receipt so I wouldn’t have known what my order number was.” She said, well I called it out, order number 4!” “I said calmly, I never received my receipt nor was I told what my number was, so I didn’t know.” The sandwich maker said, “Well you don’t get a receipt until you get your food!” I proceeded to ask her, why she was giving me an attitude, because I had not given her one. I was legitimately confused. She argued that she had not given me an attitude., when clearly she scolded me for not picking up my sandwich. I picked the sandwich off the counter and noticed that the bread was hard as a brick. I knew after the exchange, that I could not ask for a remake. So I decided to ask for my money back and I asked who the manager was. That is when I learned that the sandwich maker was the manager. She boastfully told me that she was the manager. She let me know her name was Ashley and that she would be there the next day. Ashley refused to provide her last name. To the owners of this Jimmy John’s, I will tell you that Ashley has no business being over the Mickey Mouse club, let alone a restaurant. She is loud, ghetto, and disrespectful…and she is going to run your business to hell with this nasty disposition. This young lady needs training. Who doesn’t give a customer his/her receipt at the time of purchase? For the record, I would likely have not heard my number even if I’d been given one because the music was so loud! Get some people who want to work in customer service with a pleasant disposition, because Ashley is not the answer! P.S. - The other sandwich maker had on a sleeping bonnet!!! Who wears that out in public, especially to a job! Your business is going to hell...
Read moreMy expeerience with this particular location is not good. Every other location have been fair, fast delivery and A1 customer service. As I normally order from JJ for lunch because of the speedy service and fresh sandwiches which is located on Pike Street in Lawrenceville (you guys get 10 stars). I mistakenly ordered from this location, when the driver called to see where location I apologized and told I made mistake and ordered from the location when I am in the area. The male driver was a little annoyed however he said okay no worries. I called the location and asked the manager if they can void out this transaction and refund my money. I had all the information. Now, this happened early May. After a couple of days I called the location again and asked for the manager which is a female seemed like she was annoyed told me to hold and she would check. She found the transaction and said she will take care of it. Now, me being the kind hearted person I am again I said okay thank and asked how long. She said it will take a week. I gave her two weeks. No refund, I called back asked for the manager and again explained the story and gave her the reciept/confirmation number and again she said she would have to call corporate to give it about a week or two. Well I made that call today. The manager told me to go ahead and call corporate. So... I learned today that Jimmy John is a franchise and she was delighted for me to call corporate and laughed. Well, I thought i would take the time out to add this review to this particular location as well as contacting the BBB over $15 that the manager refuse to refund me as i did not receive a purchase. She could have offered a gift certifcate as I would have been delighted with that as I am a frequent buyer. Ms Lady Manager great customer service even through delivery and trying to help the customer instead acting like nothing took place is better than having someone to write a not so good review on YOUR location.
