It was my first time and since I can’t have chicken or dairy; I tried their Mother Earth and Plant Base options! There was basically beans, a veggie mix, and sweet plantains in the Mother Earth & Veggie mix, beans, and mushrooms in the Plant Base. I enjoyed the Mother Earth slightly more. I loved that it was plant based. I liked the sauces they had. NOT the most flavorful but I believe that it was authentic to how it’s made. I’m more of a flavor gal! Still really good for plant based. I loved the drink the most! That was my first time having one.

Wavvy concept. Love the fresh and healthy food options. Location was clever, too. A lot of healthy options in the area, but this one was catchy w the name 🤣 got my business! I got the spinach quesadilla, and no question, the spinach was the main ingredient. The main flavor was Spinach. Wifey got their burrito bowl. A bit better than my dish, I must admit. Would I come back?? Na, but I would recommend to a vegan, vegetarian type 👍🏾👍🏾

Great variety of Central American street-comfort food, papusas built custom from two different grains (plain masa or masa mixed with spinach), base layers (black bean or cheese) and three of just about every topping that you'd find on the streets of Mexico, El Salvador, or Guatemala. They also have a great breakfast menu for those on the go. Nice outdoor seating out front & in the courtyard of the MET.

I am rooting for Bodega and am so glad to have them in our Sylvan Hills neighborhood. They have delicious pupusas and coffee, and completed a huge upgrade to the facility with the new opening.

That being said, it’s on the pricey end for not a ton of food. The pupusas are delicious but small, and they cost $8 apiece. For two adults to eat lunch, I purchased 3 pupusas to share and 2 lattes. With a tip, it was $40 and we were still hungry afterwards. While I want the workers to receive a quality wage, the amount of food received compared to the cost of entry, it just isn’t currently the value I’m hoping for. I’m concerned this potential gem won’t be a regular stop for myself and my neighbors if the cost of a full belly isn’t more attainable. Hoping for some combos, sides, or lunch specials to make this a bit more attainable for the neighborhood. Hoping this review is productive and that Bodega will be a staple in our...

I am OBSESSED with this place. The quality of the food is just so high. Everything tastes extraordinarily fresh. I originally tried this place because I wanted to support a local business - I had never had pupusas before. But they are amazing!!! And since the first time I’ve eaten here, I’ve tried other pupusas from other restaurants, and they all pale in comparison to La Bodega. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. Bring your...
