Taqueria Tsunami — Restaurant in Atlanta

I tasted the Far East and South of the Border Fusion at Taqueria Tsunami. As their name suggests, they are all about the Latin-Asian Fusion of flavors. My favorites bites and sips:

EAT FIRST Korean Fried Cauliflower Crispy Cauliflower tossed with a Korean sweet and spicy sauce. Unique find alert! Its vegan and yummy!

Guacamole Fresco Made to order guacamole with tomatoes, onions and fresh cilantro Chunky yet smooth and full of flavor.

Queso White cheese dip topped with jalapeños and pico de gallo. Not too runny or not too thick - perfect consistency.

Avocado Cilantro Egg Rolls Homemade and lightly fried to perfection and served with a Santa Fe ranch & sweet and spicy Thai sauce Crispiness of the egg roll + creaminess of the avocado = mind-blowoing

Short Rib: Tender short ribs, Kogi BBQ sauce, grilled onions and Mexican cheeses 11

The Short Rib quesadilla is visually appealing and satisfying to the taste buds. Well cut into 4 triangular pieces. However, be prepared for a messy eating experience. Depending on the bite you may see some rib slipping out. It tastes fantastic on its own, but when paired with queso or chipotle sour cream, the flavors are further enhanced.

Korean Fried Cauliflower Taco: Fried Cauliflower, Korean pepper sauce, cabbage, guacamole, chipotle sour cream, sesame seeds, cilantro

Not pictured. It’s a combo of tangy, sweet, and savory. The the cauliflower's natural sweetness complemented by the bold and spicy sauce and it makes great choice for a vegetarian-friendly option.

EAT TOGETHER

Additionally, the fried yuca fries are exceptionally delicious. You may get unlucky with an occasional yuca root but they are a definite fan-favorite. Believe you cannot go wrong with any sauce… chipotle sour cream… wink* wink*. Enough said

This was my second time visiting this establishment and I enjoyed my experience. This last visit I was charged the incorrect amount and spoke to the manager the next day on 7/12/22. When calling they stated that he was busy and there was a problem that was going on at the location. However he stated he saw the issue and would be corrected. When I called back a week later again they had a problem with the system and I was on hold again for a long time. I decided to visit the establishment to be rudely welcome by a manager. He was very snappy and had a getting and that not one time did I get smart with him or ugly. I just asked a question and he dismissed me. He asked me for my receipt to keep to correct the issue since again they were having system issues. When I told him that was the only proof of what I was charged he went into his dismissive attitude . I told him he could make a copy or take a picture of it. For him to say that well I can’t fix it today the banks are closed. Which I’m aware of this. And when I told him that the other manager stated he was going to work with the GM to fix it, he proceeds to say the GM don’t know what he doing. And I still yet received a resolution from management. When dealing with the public you must learn to control your emotions. I was approached as if I done something wrong. When I my eyes the bartender was tipped $50. Instead...
