Great atmosphere, big open spaces, nice size bar with plenty of seating as well as outdoor and indoor seating. We were greeted right away and taken to our table with no wait. :)
Our waiter came straight to the table. Went over the menu and so a great Brunch began. ;)
Looking at the menu there were so many great looking meal options we ended up with 3 app's. The dip duo, gyoza tacos, hong kong slider and side of crunch potatoes. OMG...so awesome!
The dip duo describes it as Korean queso but it tasted more like Mexican queso - i was not impressed with this. I was expecting a kimchi flavor but there was none and for that matter nothing else in it tasted remotely Korean (I know Korean food - was married to one for 25 years :)).
However the guacamole was truly amazing good. Lime juice, garlic different pepper flavors! Fantastic! The wonton chips were homemade and cooked perfect - not to hard or soft - just right for dipping.
The gyoza tacos were so good I wanted ten more!!! The presentation itself was enough. Then the flavors were perfectly balanced between the spicy tune, cucumber, avocado and mango. Most of the time I find there's one ingredient to much or one flavor overwhelms the rest. NOT this one. Truly an amazing taco. The taco shell was a "won ton" type shell and I thought it would self destruct in one bite but didn't. The flavor complemented the entire taco.
The Hong Kong slider was so tender the chicken melted in your mouth. The bread they use was also delicious.
The crunchy potato side was also perfectly cooked, not to greasy and cooked through making a perfect crunchy outside and tender potato inside.
The desert was Key lime pie, but this was different in a good way. More like a cake but not to sweet. I cool spin on Key lime and we ate it all.
Our server was very attentive. Never look for him or ask for...
Read moreIf you don’t mind a hip, bustling restaurant this is the place for you. I compared the brunch menu and dinner menu, I think really the only thing that stands out to me on the dinner menu is the yakitori. Otherwise you get everything you want coming in for lunch.
Get the tuna gyoza tacos. Get the fried chicken bao appetizer. Thinking of getting both of those and have them for lunch. Those come in so quick once you order. I think of happy feelings when I recall eating those with a drink on hand.
Their egg items are not good - I tried both of the red frittata and the green frittata. The best way I can describe it is it’s like a large Starbucks egg bite. Really disappointing. It’s like a … sous vide’d then seared beaten egg situation. The chicken sausage that comes with the red frittata is not good, heavy on fennel seeds and dense and tough. The red frittata is smeared in a goat cheese herb spread. The green frittata on the other hand is simply kinda flavorless and again I just hate the Starbucks egg bite texture. The salmon cakes that come with the green frittata are great though. Large chunks of fresh salmon in there.
If you like fried chicken, I recommend going for several of those fried chicken bao thing in the appetizer section rather than doing the burrito or the hong kong pancake main item. Neither really compares with the baos.
Their servers are great. You are not going to get bad service.
If you don’t have a reservation you’d have to wait for a bit, but they have great cocktails and their bartender is efficient so you can sip on a drink on their heated patio.
All in all, this charming little place has its limitations. There are things to avoid on the menu, but it’s a great place for drinks and little bites if you know...

🍽️ The Food – Absolutely Next Level
We kicked off our meal with the scallop appetizer, and wow—this dish was pure perfection. The scallops were beautifully seared, buttery, and packed with flavor, complemented by a sauce that brought out their natural sweetness.
Next up was the sushi rice risotto was just as impressive. Each bite was fresh, balanced, and expertly prepared,. Then came the tuna tacos—a vibrant explosion of flavors! The fresh tuna, combined with the crisp shell and just the right amount of heat, made for an incredibly satisfying bite.
The risotto was rich, creamy, and packed with layers of flavor. It had the perfect texture—comforting yet refined. And we can’t forget the cauliflower bites—lightly crispy, perfectly seasoned, and totally addictive! Even if you’re not a cauliflower fan, this dish will blow you away.
