If I could give less than a one star I would. The customer service here was horrific. My husband and I live in Florida and travel to Alabama once a month for business. We always stop at jacks. We stopped for a coffee at this location (which we have stopped at before). I called to order since we couldn’t go through the drive thru with our truck and trailer. The man who took my order was nice but also got it wrong I asked for a large he gave us a small. Not that big of a deal. What was the big deal was how I was treated when I came up to the door. I was greeted by April who opened the door and just stared at me like I was bothering her. I said “hi I placed an order on the phone” she looked and me and goes “well what did you order?” With an attitude, again like I was bothering her. I told her I just called and had ordered a coffee on the phone, I then proceeded to ask because I am 6 months pregnant if it would be possible to use the restroom. The only words I got out was “I am 6 months pregnant,..” when she decided to cut me off mid sentence to tell me “no you can’t use the bathroom”. Beyond rude. It would have been different if she said “I apologize we can’t let anyone use the restroom” but no she was so nasty. To top it off she walked away, came back told me my total, snatched my card and slammed the door. At this point I’m beyond mad. She comes back out, hands me my coffee, and goes you can go to Walmart. I said K and walked off. All of that was completely unnecessary and me being 6 months pregnant and her acting like I just ruined her day but just showing up at the door. Left such a sour taste in my mouth that I will go out of my way to not come back to...
Read moreWent inside to eat. Stayed at counter waiting for someone to take my order. Three people working the drive through window. Each making eye contact with me 3-4 times each within a ten minute window, all without once taking my order. Sad experience! One of the persons finally spoke to me, saying someone will be with me soon. I asked him if it would be faster service if I go through the drive through … but, I wasn’t able to do so because I went to Jacks in a power chair from my house a few blocks away. I was willing to go through the drive through in my power chair, but he said it wouldn’t be any faster for service. Sad they had 3 people working the drive through and no one working the counter on the inside! I ended up leaving to go home and make a grilled cheese sandwich. Jacks commercials say “it’s all about the south” but forgot all about the southern hospitality that’s supposed to go “hand to hand” with the south! Disrespectful hillbillies working there. Not sure if all Jacks are just as bad, but this location in Attalla, Alabama on 3rd Street definitely left a bad taste in my mouth … without even eating there! Won’t be any second chances at that location, that’s for dammed sure, that location can’t say that it’s all about the south, when they neglect having the southern hospitality that should always come with it. I think Jacks needs to discontinue saying “it’s all about the south” in their commercials until they’ve learned what that details in those words used in their commercials! Walk the walk, and talk the talk … and quit falling short in the meaning of those words! “ALL ABOUT THE SOUTH” …?...
Read moreWhile I've always enjoyed Jack's food, I have made the decision to not eat at this location during this pandemic! I went in to order my food because of the extremely long drive thru line and my limited time table. Luckily I was the only one at the counter. As always, I focus on the menu before I place my order so I didn't notice the cashier (or any of her co-workers). She snapped me out of my daze by asking what she could get for me. I looked at her then and noticed that her mask was below her nose. I asked her, "why don't you have your mask over your face properly?" She immediately pulled up her mask and told me it "keeps slipping down." I then looked around to her co-workers and saw that NOT ONE of them had their mask over their nose and some were wearing them under their chin. I told her I didn't think I was going to place an order because NO ONE was observing proper protocol for mask wearing. I have been to two other locations, one in Gadsden and one in the Ashville area and have been disappointed by them as well for the same reason. HEY!!! Some of us have health that makes us HIGH risk if we contract Covid-19! Wear the mask, if not for your safety, for ours! My advise is to observe before you purchase food from their restaurants!!! It's your life that could be on the line! P.S. I have tried to contact their corporate in Birmingham Alabama, but they make it nearly impossible to give...
