Koi Chinese Cuisine and Lounge is a great Chinese and Japanese restaurant. The restaurant is extremely clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a modern upscale casual restaurant with lower than market pricing. It is decorated with Asian decor adding to the ambiance. I had the pleasure of talking to the owner. He cares so much about his food that he brought a consultant in to taste his dishes to help bring them up a notch. They have a delicious hot and sour soup to start your meal. Their PuPu platter is really solid, the beef teriyaki being the highlight. They do the old school circle style shrimp. The shrimp coating had a nice crunch without drying out the shrimp on the inside. The chicken fingers were cooked perfectly. Crab rangoons were delicious. I am usually more of a celery fan on my egg rolls, however theirs had a really nice flavor, I really enjoyed it. Wings had a perfect crisp and were very juicy. I enjoyed these more with a little duck sauce. Both the spareribs with and without the bone were extremely tender. I suggested a little more charring. They were very good though. I had pork fried rice without onions (personal preference), this was very solid. I really liked it. The shrimp with lobster sauce was one of the best I've had. It wasn't salty or sweet, just perfect flavors. Shrimp tasted fresh and had a nice texture. Kung Pao chicken was delicious. Had a little kick that sneaks up. Orange beef was really tender with a delicious sauce. I was extremely happy with my meal. They also offer a bunch of lunch and dinner specials. I think that you will see some of the items I had elevated as they grow to improve. I have eaten at all of the Chinese food places in the immediate area of Koi and without changing a thing I believe this is the best option. Check them out! They also offer Mai Tai's (delicious) and Scorpion...

Tonight my daughter and I went out to dinner to a restaurant we have been going to for years. Mon Kou Restaurant. We were sitting across from a very well served group of 2 couples 🍹we will say. Now keep in mind this is a family restaurant we have been going to over 10 years never an issue till tonight. Every other word was F this and that. That proceeded into discussion of favorite sexual position, male and female anatomy to things I won’t mention. Our waitress was joining with x rated jokes multiple times. At one point I went to men’s room and heard them loud and clear. I asked to waitress to ask them to drop the volume and thank them for an X rated show for my 15 year old daughter. She said sorry. After most of our dinner being an impromptu x rated show with staff as headline they left. Again I expressed my disappointment and disgust no one asked them to quiet down, our waitress told X rated jokes for which she said sorry. I asked to talk to management and was refused. I was informed someone had to talk to mom. Again I asked to talk to anyone and was refused. I asked if management was refusing to come to table and she replied yes. I was not looking for anything free, I paid my bill, I just wanted to express my disgust with them that no one even said sorry. When I left everyone except 1 person disappeared and they claimed not to speak English. I am happy your ok with a free impromptu x rated show in your “ family “ restaurant and your ok with refusing to speak to customers. You lost this long...

We have been to Koi several times and enjoy each time because the food is delicious and the drinks are well made. In general, they have good service, but often food comes out at odd timing.

For example, sushi will be served last, even after entrees are brought to the table, some people receive their first meal while others are served 5 to 10 minutes later, and during out last visit, there was about a 15 minute wait between cocktails being served between guests. One guest received his drink first, while the mixed drinks, Mai Tai cocktails, took 15 minutes later to arrive to the table.

During a recent visit, we noticed the bill was a little higher than we thought. Without being told, there was an automatic gratuity being added. We didn't mind it, but it was a little bit questionable to make no mention of the automatic gratuity when presenting the bill. We have had similar party sizes a few times before, so it makes us question whether this has been previously added without being informed. We understand automatic gratuity being added, but it should...

My extended family and I had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant after attending a funeral. We were pleasantly surprised by their ability to accommodate our large group, providing us with a separate room for our gathering. To enhance our dining experience, we decided to order our meals family style, allowing us to share and savor a variety of dishes together. The restaurant offers decent Chinese cuisine, which satisfied our taste buds. However, I must mention that I am unable to give a full 5-star rating because we did not have the chance to try their sushi yet. I believe that experiencing their sushi would have added another layer of enjoyment to our meal. Nonetheless, I appreciate the restaurant's efforts in catering to our needs during this challenging time.
